spacious rooms, good location, poor service.
Room had been very heavily odorized so had to vent for two hours. in room there was tea/coffee but no kettle! Service in bar was quite slow - had to ask for bill to pay three times. nice locations and spacious rooms.

Absolut dejligt
Det var en helt vidunderlig oplevelse for farmor,mormor, søn,svigerdatter og to børnebørn. Vi kommer igen. Dejligt hotel, søde hjælpsomme medarbejdere, skøn morgenmad, rene værelser. Og bedste beliggenhed.

It was great the only thing is the door handle for my bathroom broke off after gently pulling it when I first got in the room. But it was a tiny inconvenience that didn't impact my overall stay.

Nice hotel. Tube stop 50 yards away. Would stay again for sure. Only knock is that some of the restaurants right outside are fast food chain restaurants like Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Wish it was a little less "touristy". But the stay was great. Good bed. No issues. Convenient location. Front desk staff very nice.

The hotel is nicely located right next to Gloucester Road tube station. Although I had a first floor room facing the main road, it was quiet and clean. The most disappointing element of the stay was having very expensive cologne stolen from the room by housekeeping. I had checked out early morning and after realising I left my cologne, I phoned reception immediately and asked them to check the room and secure the cologne. This was still early in the morning before the 11am checkout time. They assured me that they would check and phone me back. Of course, they made no such checks, never phoned me back, and although I rang another 4 times during the morning and afternoon, still they never anything. When I sent my son around to the hotel the next day, the cologne had been taken by house keeping and they told him that it was never there. Very disappointing that they could have acted, but choose not to and then allowed the cologne to be taken. Yes, my fault for leaving it in the first place, but inexcusable for them to completely ignore me after that even though I rang them on numerous occasions.

This is a lovely hotel & has great amenities. Events take place at this hotel so be aware of slamming doors and noise at night. The Gloucester tube station was closed, which it is across the street. So be prepared to haul your luggage a few long blocks from the other tube stations. Overall my stay at this hotel was pleasant.

The hotel was affordable and so conveniently located next to the Gloucester Tube Station as well as restaurants and stores. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was much larger than what we'd experienced in other European hotels. Upon close inspection, however, the room was in need of various minor repairs, like tiles that were cracked or poorly laid in the first place. All in all, though, our stay was great.

When 3 women checked into a triple deluxe room, there was 1/2 a roll of toilet paper. We requested more and 4 rolls were brought. The next morning we went to breakfast. I asked the maître D if breakfast was included in our room and he told me to go to the front desk and ask. Rather than leave my guests in the dining room I said I will just pay for breakfast. We did, and was sat next to a decorative glass wall with liquid stains dripping down it. All three of us subsequently got a bug and needed LOTS more toilet paper. We asked for the room to be cleaned expected more toilet paper. NONE was replaced. The bathroom has peel and stick tile. We had to repeatedly press it back against the bathtub, it was repeatedly falling to the floor. I went to the lobby and requested more toilet paper, since we were all ill after eating breakfast . . . an hour later I had to call and again ask for it. Two 1/2 rolls were brough to three adult ill women. We gave up, went to Waitrose and bought toilet paper. It's not worth detailing the rest. We stayed here only because the London Bailey had no availability. If that happens again, we just won't go to London till the Bailey is available.
