The Air conditioning did not work. A guy from the staff during (the night shift) said he solved it and that was not true. We could not sleep at all. Later the night shift Manager said to us that at 6 am would arrive the Maintanance people and would repair the air. That never happened. I asked for reimbursement and I was told by the Manager that I have to submit a claim to Expedia.

I was disappointed, I made this reservation because I trusted the Hilton name. The room looked very out of date and not well maintained. The bed was noisy and you could feel bed springs on your back. The thermostat wasn’t working properly and changing the temperature didn’t make a difference IMO.

Air conditioning was broken for entirety of stay and was unable to open windows - room was over 26 C the entire stay.

The heater didn't work. The desk man fiddled with it and said it would work in 15 minutes. It never worked.

We were on a long layover and wanted a place to stay for the day. The hotel allowed us to check in early at 9:30am to accommodate us. We even took advantage of the continental breakfast. The staff was wonderful.

It was not whAt i expected from a double tree or how hilton rewards menbers get treated. I was placed in a handicap room which was ok but im 6 foot 8 so it was not ideal given proximity of items. The staff were not very friendly Bar and restaurants being open was plus and proxmity was good. Will never stay there again

I booked this hotel because it was supposed to be fully refundable, but our rental car broke down and we could get to the hotel. I called but they said they could refund it because Expedia had already run the payment through. I’m not sure who to blame, but it is false advertising.

If you're looking for an inexpensive night before your flight out of London, this is a good place. It's not the place you'd want to spend the week if your intention is to see London. There are no train stops nearby and a cab ride is an hour from the middle of the city. It was surprisingly quiet given that planes were flying very close. The room was perfectly fine, clean, and comfortable. It's a basic hotel. The shuttle ran on time in the morning (every 1/2 hour) and got us to the airport in about 20 minutes. The cost was about 6 pounds per person.

The food is great. The staff is great. The location is great. For a school trip last summer we stay at this hotel. It was so nice that we had to return for our trip to England and Scotland.--it is perfect!

I use Hilton when I travel. I have been a rewards member for years. I expect a certain level of professionalism. The staff did not acknowledge me as a Hilton Rewards member. The young lady was more concerned if I were going to pay for my parking. I did not feel welcome and more of an inconvenience to whatever else she was doing.

I have stayed here before and had a pleasant stay. This NYE me and my partner stayed here for two nights to have a quiet stay for New Years. Upon arrival we was greeted with a rude staff member called Iqbal who was rushing the process of check-In with us and got very defensive when asked why deposit was needed. He then very rudely handed over two cookies without explanation to why they were given however this is something I am already aware of because I have stayed here before. Unfortunately it was my first time for my partner and he felt very disappointed with the treatment. I then explained over the phone to reception about the room type that we had been given and not the same as online and had to stay in a room that was not booked and the man over the phone called Imran spoke to me and said he can help me with this tomorrow. The next day I went to reception explaining this and was moved to another room that was originally booked and checked into this room that had no working TV. Me and my partner then went downstairs to explain this and Iqbal said he will send maintenance. When maintenance had come, they had explained that there was over 200 rooms and some of the rooms don’t have Wi-Fi. This defeated the purpose, of having a quiet getaway for New Year’s Eve, with my partner as the previous room had a working TV. We both spent two nights in two different rooms. The first room not originally booked and then the second with a tv with issues.

The night we arrived to check in. The Bar area was horrendous, the noise from two tables from very drunk patrons, with children running around knocking over lamps etc. our dinner in the bar was a nightmare. To be fair this did not reoccur during our stay but it should not have been able to continue even for one night the floor was covered in mess and the tables were left with glasses and plates for too long. Other patrons not involved in the two noisy tables were universally not impressed. The accomodation is very comfortable and rooms are spacious, although they need to rethink their pillows, they are all extremely soft and despite requests are limited in number. Firm pillows should also be available for those that want them. It made sleeping at night more uncomfortable than the beds themselves deserved. Overall the staff were polite but not overly helpful at times. Even given the reduced rate this hotel has the Hilton name and good service costs nothing. I would recommend overall with the couple of caveats above.

Would use again but would check facilities first.
Hotel was easy to find. Charge of £15 to park car on open car park without security was unnecessary. Room was good, and clean, with a few niggles. Wet room was not what we wanted, and was dangerous when used. The whole floor stayed wet for hours. We could not get internet because it kept asking me to join members club, despite being a member for years. There was no way to log in with existing membership and the phone in the room did not work to ask advice. Food in the bar was good and well priced.
