We paid for 2 identical rooms – but they were far from identical. One was so small that you couldn’t even sit proper on the toilet – your knees would hit the wall. No closet or shelfs to unpack. The other room had it all??? Breakfast buffet was very mediocre – but the staff looked like it was their first day on the job, ALL of them. Friendly enough but like a bunch of headless chickens. We are not going back :-(

Super flinke ansatte
Hotellet er velbeliggende i stille omgivelser. Personalet er virkelig søde - langt mere end de fleste andre steder. Det er en stor kvalitet i sig selv. Værelserne er lidt små til min smag.

Godt men småt
Dejligt hotel. Personalet var venlige, værelset var rent og pænt. Det ligger godt placeret. Det eneste minus var at værelset var meget lille. Jeg var alene så det var ikke det store problem men jeg mener ikke man vil kunne være 2 på værelset.

It is a nice little Hotel. The room was OK, but the bed was really good. And the duvet was a doulble which is very rare on hotels, but I like that :-)

Great safe location. Room was very nice, clean. When you walk into hotel the lobby always had strong terrible inscense smell.Very bad for any one with allergies. It smelled awful in lobby. Our room happen to be on lobby level. On way to room the hallways smelled of chinese food maybe because the kitchen was on that level. The room was nice and very clean. A great stay except for the smells outside the room. Also we choose one day to have the breakfast there. It was overpriced we thought and also it was buffet style and all cold even the hot items.Nice breakfasts place walkable 2-3 blocks away

Great location and nice hotel. Only missing a star because there are no outlets by the bed so I could not use my medically required CPAP machine while I sleep. When I asked for an extension cord, they did not have any. Otherwise, a lovely hotel. Easy walking distance from Paddington.

We were very impressed by this hotel. Carmen gave us a very warm welcome and seemed to really care about the hotel guests. All other staff were also very kind and considerate. Rooms were a nice size, clean and had a nice supply of towels. Location is handy for Paddington and Hyde Park (although Bayswater was a handy nearby station to go to). A nice touch was the birthday greetings, cake and decorations left in the room for my mother's birthday, which was much appreciated. Looking forward to returning to this hotel. Nice hotel handy for Paddington
Very friendly and efficient reception staff. The hotel is undergoing major renovations to a large part of the hotel. With my stay the only effect was a water shut off (with warning the night before) from 10am to 4pm. Not an inconvenience for me. I didn't particularly notice noise from the works either.

Good stay
The hotel is on quiet street, 10 minutes walk to Paddington Station. The room was large, and bright. The bathroom was also a good size with a large walk-in in shower. Staff on reception were cheerful and helpful. The booking didn't include breakfast but I could of added it for £26.00, way too expensive for me. However around Lancaster Gate (5 minutes walk) there are various places to get breakfast.

A lovely stay
My stay was brief but highly enjoyable. Staff were very warm and welcoming and the room was immaculate. I also got to use the sauna, which was a welcome bonus. Just one small improvement would make a real difference: the bathroom had one of those terrible half-screened showers, which meant that water went everywhere. It's hard to relax in the shower when you're conscious of potentially flooding the place. A liquid soap dispenser (like the one in the shower) at the handbasin, rather than a small and slippery piece of soap, would also work well. White Company toiletries were delightful! I highly recommend this hotel, it's a real find in central London.
