Nice situated with friendly staff - want to point out the friendly and serviceminded gentleman at the breakfast, which made you feel very welcomed. The hotel was nicely refurbished a few years ago and is in very good and nice standard. Parking behind, an extra plus. AND location is just great - at the Brayford Pool and within walking dia´stance from citty centre and the Lincoln Cathedral. We will return to Holiday Inn Lincoln at the next visit to Lincoln.

Fint placeret i city af Lincoln.
Hotellet er dejligt placeret ved Brayford - i city og gåafstand til det meste. Hotellet er let at komme til med bil, men har ikke nok parkeringspladser. 100 m derfra er der imidlertid parkeringshus til en rimelig pris. Personalet er yderst venligt og hjælpsomt. Lobby og restaurant er pæne. Executive værelset nærmer sig tiden til en brush up (og velkomsthilsenen på TV var til en anden gæst end mig). Breakfast er ok, men mere variation vil være fint.

Dejligt hotel
Virkelig dejligt hotel med en utrolig god beliggende lige ned til kanal. Få hundrede meter langs kanalkanten med gode spisesteder og derefter næsten i hjertet af Lincoln med butikker - med gode indkøbs muligheder- Hotellet er tiltalende - god service og renlighed.og dejlige store King Size senge.

For a 3 star hotel it’s ok. Area is very much part of the university campus - not surprising given its snack opposite the university. Room was a little tired - and what’s with no electrical sockets near the bed - it’s the 21st century - everyone wants to leave their phone charging next to the bed!!!

The location is fabulous, only stayed one night, but I felt like I was on holiday staying next to the Brayford. The room was perfect for my friend and I, It was great having 2 double beds in the room (neither of us drawing the short straw for the single!) My only criticisms would be, that there was a fair amount mould in the grout of the tiles in the bathroom, some along the bottom of the tiles, but some at eye level, and the shower curtain looked to be yellowing along the bottom. Another small gripe is that I could not open the window to outside, even a small amount, even though we were on the ground floor. Having said all that, I would stay there again as the location was wonderful.

The area around the hotel was very pretty with the dining room looking out onto the wharf. The bed in the bedroom needs refurbishing as there were multiple stains on the lower divan and on the mattress protector. The base of the bed had an obvious tear which detracted from the whole appearance of the bed. The bed itself was comfortable.

Since I was in Lincoln to do research at the Lincolnshire Records office, this was a perfect location. I only wish that I had asked for a room with a few of the river instead of the parking lot. The hotel was still close enough to the hill with the castle and cathedral to walk and sightsee.

Hotel in great spot, with lovely view. Standard rooms need a little refresh to brighten them up but food , drinks and cleanliness absolutely no issues. I would say better tea and coffee options in room… quite poor by today’s standards with very limited options …

Great position and quiet location despite being central. Staff not very friendly and hotel has a bit of a tired feeling - basic electric heaters in our room, no heated towel rail and fan in bathroom did not work. Broken and fallen down barriers at front of property and could not see what work was going on. Outside of the building needed a good sweep

Staff were friendly, however the room let it down. There was dust on every surface and spiderwebs hanging from the ceiling. I had to make my pillow myself as they'd just been thrown in. The room was also a bit dated. Definitely not what I'd expect for the price.

So the beds and the rooms were comfy and clean. However maybe it was just us but the emergency light was so bright, not just a little bit, like closing your eyes for a nap during the day in Greece bright. Cannot help drunk people next to you, but the walls and the lady in the morning barely acknowledged us when we're trying to check out. Right next to the river and shops so perfect location.

Nice position, friendly staff. Happy to see the dog. Only downside was poor supply of toilet roll. Two largely used rolls in the bathroom. There should have been at leadt on unused roll provided.

Hotel and staff were very good. However when local clubs and pubs closed there was a lot of screaming and shouting going on. I was awoken by this several times during the night. The last time at 0340 hrs. Oh too be young again!

The room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows but the quilt didnt fit the cover it was too small. Room was very warm and the aircon didn't work. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was very nice and so much to choose from, lady with short blonde hair in breakfast area was very welcoming and very friendly.

Generally a much nicer hotel than I expected
I was not happy when the shower hose was completely broken, no water was coming from the shower head at all. I contacted reception and they immediately offered another room opposite. I could have done without the hassle but it was resolved quickly.

The room was nice and the staff at breakfast were courteous and helped make up for the front of door staff who were unhelpful and quite miserable. They preferred to watch us struggle with a wheelchair than open the door. But beware if you book pay later at the hotel they then charge more on the day. This is something I have never experienced before.

Vibrant location with many eateries. Hotel was very nice and contempory unfortunately let down by our very dusty roo., informed reception and the matter was treated seriously. Good staff

Comfortable stay
Enjoyed our 2 night stay. 10 minutes walk to the centre, lots of choice for eating out close by. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and good breakfast

One night stay
The room was good - two double beds but they were a bit firm. There was quite a bit of dust. However, the shower was brilliant - double sized and newly redone - shower pressure very good too. The breakfast was excellent especially the bacon and the coffee.
