Perfect for two

Lovely space, Didn't exactly match the description
Whenever I book a place I'm looking for a standalone house. Now this was technically a standalone building that you have to yourself but from the pictures posted we never noticed that it's in fact 50ft from the main house. None of the photos posted included that fact and was a bit of a surprise when we arrived. Other than that, great space, fire pit outside, AC didn't work while we were there but it wasn't the end of the world.

Lovely, peacful & cozy
My sister and I just wanted a quiet, weekend getaway. This carriage house was the perfect place to go. The beautiful property had amazing walking trails, a nice little fire pit with plenty of wood, and the carriage house itself was absolutely perfect. Beautifully done, clean and everything you need. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful Studio
This beautiful, clean studio had everything we needed for our short stay in the Berkshires. It was a private, quiet location but close to major routes too. I would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Diamond in the rough
My son and I stayed here for a ski weekend at Jiminy Peak. The accommodations were perfect. Quiet, clean, comfortable and less then 20min drive to Jiminy. Felt like a home away from home. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Winter Recharge/Get Away
The property was as advertised. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The host was excellent, accommodating, and so pleasant! The trails surrounding the property were beautiful and great exercise! The fresh air hikes were just what we needed. The interior was cozy and quaint. Everything we needed was supplied. Highly recommend this stay! You will not be disappointed!

Slice of heaven
I really want to share this secret little slice of heaven in the Berkshires. My husband and I were visiting my dad for a few days. This spot in the woods is a few short miles from him. This sweet little garage apartment is so perfect for our time together. This is a special place with so many crafted little details. When you open the door you are greeted by a beautiful staircase and breathtaking copula. Then when you top the stairs you see the two very cozy window seats. There are several design elements that I love. the bureau in the wall is space saving and a quirky little thing that I love! The bathroom space is very nice, I just love the elevated sink with waterfall faucet. I have to say the bed is actually super comfortable, along with the amazing pillows, comfy sheets and warm blankets. The beautiful maple flooring is warmed by radiant Heating to make this little dream so cozy. I could go on and on, but I think you just better check it out yourself! Thanks for sharing your space for a few days

Great place for a weekend trip
Excellent location that is extremely quiet and conveniently located near Pittsfield. Nice kitchen and a good amount of space including nice cute window nook that we really enjoyed. Easy access to the bike path and other attractions in the area.

Wonderful Getaway
Chris was a wonderful host! The cottege was extremely clean and updated. In the perfect location to the rail trail and not far from restraunts, stores and tanglewood. The property was beautiful as well. Chris gave great recommendations for dinner and things to do in the area. Thank you Chris we will return in the future!

Lanesborough stay
Stayed in Christopher's lovely cottage while visiting family in the area. Very nicely done space perfect for two people. Very close to the beautiful Ashuwilliticock trail for cycling, and not far from other attractions: hiking the trails around Mt. Greylock and a visit to the Clark Institute (wonderful art museum) in Williamstown.

Secluded getaway near Pittsfield
We had a wonderful weekend at the Carriage House. The photos show the nice secluded location, but it is only a few turns from shopping centers, grocery stores, and downtown Pittsfield. The nearby rail trail is newly paved and a beautiful walk through the woods. The apartment has all necessities for a great getaway in the Berkshires!

Great home base for exploring the Berkshires, bring your bike!
This cozy carriage house is a great spot for a couple who want to explore the Berkshires. It's minutes away from the Ashuwillticook rail trail with 13 miles of beautiful Berkshire scenery and wildlife to soak in as you pedal the trail. It is within easy driving distance of all the attractions to the north and south, and the property itself has multiple trails with hidden surprises.

Berkshire Get-Away Trip
Cottage was a great getaway spot. I loved the availability of natural areas for walking, birding and looking for bugs. I was able to put out lights to attract moths and got some good pictures and 41 species of moths. It turned out exactly as I had hoped except for too much rain. The only problem was the bed. Your set-up is not really designed for mature bodies that might have to get up in the middle of the night. No way to exit on one side without climbing over partner. I slept on the sofa which turned out OK. Enjoyed meeting Robert and hearing about the development of the property. Plus we were close to good food. And followed Robert's recommendations.

Beautiful space, wonderful host
Nice decor, fully equipped and well set up. Next door to host who was very warm helpful and attentive. There is a separate entrance to the freestanding carriage house that is very easy to miss. Driveway needs better signage and lighting if you arrive after dark. Nice 1/2 mile walk through woods to nearby wetland. We will be back.

Wonderful in every way!
The cottage is the perfect spot for a getaway to the Berkshires! Safe, secluded, peaceful, yet close enough to explore the many towns nearby. It was spotlessly clean with a full kitchen and very comfortable bed. The window seats were a wonderful place to enjoy my coffee every morning. Very well thought out use of space…Two separate sitting areas and a nice size closet. Not to mention lots of wooded trails to explore right outside your door!

Our go to getaway.
This was our fifth stay. Spotless, quiet, homey, grounds are gorgeous, right in the middle of anything you could ever want to do. This time we used it as a base for Freshgrass Festival at Mass Moca...but don't think of booking that weekend in 2023 because it's mine. Also...the owners dog is the best !!!

Cozy Getaway
This is a great little place to stay for a person or couple who wants a quiet, private getaway that is convenient to pretty much any Berkshires destination. Contactless check in, host provided contact info if we needed anything. The property was peaceful and well-maintained. The cottage was comfortable with pretty much everything we needed. It was a great home base as we spent time in Lee/Lenox area, Hudson Valley NY, and Mass MoCA. Would absolutely stay here again.

It is located in a cute country setting. The unit is very clean and neat but had a very strong smell of cleaning products that was slow to dissipate. No windows open in this little studio so you have to use air conditioning all the time. It is a studio so you are sleeping right next to the kitchen area. A window or a screen door would be a great improvement. The photo shown is not the side of the building available to the renter - The actual view of the property is the third image in the photo montage -I thought we were in the wrong place. The other exterior photos are the owners driveway showing the little cupola in the unit. The VRBO listing needs revision.

Was not upto mark as expected
Cottage is very small, no shades on window, shower is such small that technicall it couldn't fit one person. Its a very small cottage. Kitchen was good, living room was well maintained. TV and the sound system was difficult to control. Spoked to the propert onwer too about it but he was not very techie guy, so he couldn't help. Lastly was not able to watch anything on TV. We booked the place for 3 days. But had to leave the place in 1 day. We wasted our money here. Only good thing about it was the location. Was not far away from the market place and major eating outlets.

Fantastic stay!
This was our favorite Vrbo experience ever. The cottage is charming, beautifully designed with thoughtful amenities. And the setting is magical. You drive through a lovely tree lined driveway and can spend a day walking well-tended trails right outside the front door. Christopher is warm and helpful, and the cottage is centrally located to stunning hikes, bike rides and day trips to the homes of some of the greatest American writers. We can’t wait to come back! Perfect for a short stay for 2 in Berkshires
The property was clean and located near plenty to see and do. The fire pit was great and we enjoyed making s’mores by it. The mall in walking distance listed is abandoned, but a Target is right there which is nice if you need anything.
