We got there at night parking cost is $45. There was a giant roch in the room and a long hair on the clean towel. Overall not a good night loud people all night.

Not as good as expected
Depending on who was working at the front desk the service and attitude was very different. It unfortunately gave me a bad first impression upon arrival. We had two rooms but one of them the lock was broken and the keys didn’t work. My parents staying in the room could not get their keys updated without me present. It would have been nice if they had self parking (especially considering it being off season and not as busy) I like the area but will pick a different place next time.

It was terrible. I booked rooms servers times and never have I once not get the room booked. I realized it after the second night and it was too late. The room I booked was OCEAN VIEW WITH BALCONY! I got partial view and no balcony! I didn’t complain I was too tired needed a get away and it was raining. Hate this place! The worse! I heard everything! I don’t mind the ocean noise but people and scraping of the luggage. Horrible!

When you pull up to the property you second guess your choice for booking this pretty pricey place because the curb appeal is the same as a rundown motel six. If you read the reviews this is not a place to book a regular room. There’s really no view in the cheaper rooms. We booked the Premier Oceanfront room with balcony.

Everything was amazing, except the valet. Items were stolen directly from my car and the only people that had the keys were the valet folks. While I should've known better than to leave things in my car, you'd expect valet to ensure that your belongings are safe and not stolen (especially by the staff themselves). They also charge you 45 a night. I paid to have my belongings taken. If you stay here, you're better of parking in the street, definitely do not leave anything in your car.

Hotel very nice w amazing view . Room great . Valet not organized . I asked for bags to be brought to my room and it took 45 mins due to there baggage door being broken and couldn’t retrieve bags . So we we all late for our dinner reservation and had to wait an extra hour for our next dinner reservation. Such an inconvenience! Next time tell me you’re having problems w storage room ! I want a refund on resort fee and my valet balance . I want to be refunded

Fool me twice
This is the second time that the Pacific Edge has gotten the best of me. Be weary, as this hotel has a street facing row of rooms and then the more expensive "oceanview" rooms. The first time I stayed they stuck us in the street facing rooms, so this trip I decided I wanted to try again for a better room! Well, fool me twice... I paid for the most expensive ocean view room that shows a large bathtub and was ocean facing (not to be confused with the "stick your head out the window and you can see the ocean "view" room"), and of course we checked in and hauled our luggage up the stairs because the elevator was broken only to find that the room we were assigned had a tiny bathtub (not a giant soaking tub) and no ocean facing view. I called to the front desk and was told they only offer one room with that tub and it was in use, and they couldn't offer us a better room. We quickly realized during our stay that we only had one neighbor (who was in the ocean FACING room with a wrap around balcony like what the listing showed when I booked the most expensive option on their offerings). Not only that but on our last day the door to the room next door was open (not the ocean facing room, but the opposite side), and I peaked in and there was that giant tub we were told A) was only in one room and B) wasn't available. The hot tub is full of sand on the bottom and looks a little green as well. Overall I just feel like this hotel love to pull the old switch-ero, so beware!

Fantastic location by the water close enough to hear the waves. The property can be a little confusing to navigate but the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful to guide the way. The room came with a big kitchen area as well.

Everything was wonderful. Rooms clean and updated. Staff very very friendly. Could walk every where and felt extremely safe. Lots of good options. Definitely eat at the Taco Stand.

When I got there the staff was super nice and helped really fast. I booked a room that said beach view not parcial view. And they gave me a room that’s parcial. If they said that I wouldn’t have been upset. I could not see the beach from my room I could hear it but not see it. Also our rooms counters were dirty. Also in the description it said hot tub but there was only a pool on the premises no hot tub . The beach is beautiful and the dinning options are good . Really expensive.

Very friendly service at the front desk and at the valet. Room can do with some updates, especially the AC, which is installed so low on the wall it blew right into the bed (freezing!). AC is also very noisy, turning on and off every few minutes all night long.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the room I reserved (an ocean view) and that was a big bummer. I asked if I could change rooms, and the lovely manager complied. The new room was 'blah", old and broken down furniture, missing lightbulbs, rust and cobwebs throughout, and overall dingy room. Exterior: torn and very worn out hall carpeting -- it was gross.

Location was excellent , however the room had a strong musk smell and was very disapointed that both the restaurant and the Deck Bar closed almost 2 hours before there closing time and would not serve us.

The premier oceanfront rooms are in a perfect location. Down side, the property is a little run down. Furniture is really nice, but balconies are rusted. Would expect nicer for $700 per night.

So truth be told, I booked the room because of how pretty the pictures looked. After i booked, I went through the reviews and immediately wanted to cancel. I’m so glad I didn’t. The room was absolutely beautiful. The views were stunning and the staff was amazing. My check in guy was thee best. And my valet guy was awesome too. I know it’s not the most inexpensive place, however you are paying for location. I love hearing the sounds of waves crashing on the shore. This room gave me this. I would definitely book again.

Die Lage ist top, direkt am Meer. Das Zimmer war jedoch sehr schmuddelig. Überall waren Flecken und der Boden war schmutzig. Auch die Armaturen der Badewanne waren defekt.

I never thought I would find such an welcoming, comfortable and service based lodging accommodation and still be so affordable.in an area like Laguna Beach. Especially "On the Beach". I was working on a clinical trial in the area and had one of the patients with me. I was already stressful situation but they made accommodations for their disabilities. They treated everyone with sincere care and after even one stay there, Im completely convinced they definitely know what they are doing and how to successfully run a business like this.They "Get It" Thank you Pacific Edge, Ill be back as soon as possible and tell others how pleasantly surprised and satisfied I was. Great location and room in the tower was a good size (king bed, plus big kitchette, seating area). The bathroom shower is not great, the vanity is super small, but the mirror is fantastic (lights up). We did get a partial ocean view and can literally hear and see the waves/beach! Super convenient to walk everywhere.

Incredible setting!! Fell asleep to the waves crashing on the shore. The property can be a smidge confusing at first as it’s multiple buildings and one lobby, but easy to figure out once you know. Location is worth it a million times over. Looking for a place ON the beach, do it!!

Very Disappointing Overall
We had stayed here previously so expected a certain level of experience, especially since they increased the prices significantly. Our ocean view rooms were over $800 per day, once all the “resort fees” and “valet fees” were added on. First, the actual “day” is already truncated - check in is 4:00, not the normal 3:00, and check out is 11:00, not noon, so a day is 17 hours. Then, our room didn’t have any of the food items listed on a sheet they provided, nor was there any bar soap in the bathroom. The housekeeping spoke zero English and neither did her manager, which became an issue on day two, when after we specifically called the front desk to tell them when we were leaving the room and when we would be returning, we came back six hours later to a room that hadn’t been touched. Our complaint was met with, “we don’t have anything to do with housekeeping”. But the straw that broke the camel’s back, around midnight on the second night, upon returning to the room, there were two very large cockroaches in our room. That did it. We demanded to be moved to another room, which they did; the only available room, a tiny room with a small bed and no view. I will give them credit for the way they handled it; they moved us right away and we’re very good working with us about adjusting the billing appropriately, but you don’t expect to encounter situations such as the ones I described at a hotel charging upwards of a thousand dollars a night.

Great Views and Location
Definitely paying for location. It is one of the lesser expensive units, but with great views and right on the beach. It is old and in need of some paint. We were in the tower on the beach. Elevator vent completely rusted. Water pressure in our room (110) barely flowed out of the sink. Comfort was ok except for the AC unit literally blowing your face all night as it is right next to the bed. Just leave the windows open if you feel safe enough and it will be cool enough. I would book again but would also like to see just a little more TLC put into it. Yes, it is at the ocean edge so things will rust quicker, but that's where the constant upkeep comes into play. The pool was average and nothing to write home about, but then again, the ocean should be your pool for this trip.

“Premium ocean view room” has no view whatsoever, and is facing a wall. For a premium room it also has very basic furniture - nothing but a bed and a table without any drawers. Room is also in need of repair with mold on bathroom window curtains, and the floor is so poorly cleaned, your feet get dirty and get sand stuck to them when you walk in for the first time. Staff has been nice and helpful though, and location is good.

Despite booking an oceanfront room my room was not oceanfront. I asked the front desk and the gentleman told me that this is what they have so take it or leave it. In fact, to view the ocean, I had to walk out of my room, walk to the end of the floor, and then I could glimpse the ocean. Parking is super annoying too. Lastly, for some reason there is excessive lighting around the room and the blinds are completely ineffective (so don’t plan on sleeping late). I would not recommend staying here, especially for the high price.

It was nice but images show a big walk in shower but it was a small old bathtub shower. The kitchen has a window that has basically see through curtains and it was uncomfortable, felt like someone was looking in and we had to get towels to cover it.
