My wife and l cannot say enough about the great experience we had on our 10 day visit at Marilyn’s. Owner Mark and his wife Tiffany were extremely accommodating and friendly. The house on Montoya street was very, very clean, comfortable and such a great location in Lady Lake between Sumpter Lake and Spanish Springs where shopping and Restaurants are easily accessible. You will ABSOLUTELY NOT BE disappointed in the whole experience. We will definitely return for other future visits. Manny and Lina B.

Overall very good!
House was very clean. Some shampoo… some soap and toothpaste supplied. Kitchen supplies…condiments , clothes detergent, toilet paper… you will need to buy. For any home in Villages… it would be good to better understand the golf cart paths… give more instruction. We used the maps app on our phone and put in for 🚲 since carts and bike paths are shared in The Villages. It took a a day or two to figure that out… not all roads are golf cart friendly. Mark was great about switching out the bikes since we were having issues with the 2 that were there. Overall… a good stay… we would prefer 2 twin beds… rather than one double… but many may not feel the same.

Magnificent Marilyn’s place!
This VRBO was quaint, cozy and beautifully decorated! Location was perfect for getting to Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing, by way of either car or golf car that was provided! (This was an awesome amenity)! Mark was very helpful and a great host! We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again!

My husband and I were very impressed with the cleanliness and the decor of this villa. It was a very nice place to stay and the owner was very accommodating. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. You can’t go wrong with the value and location of this property.

Most comfortable bed in the Villages
I’ve stayed at numerous hotels and rentals in The Villages over the years and they all have one thing in common, uncomfortable beds. This rental had a comfortable bed and I was able to get good rest. Perfect rental for 1-2 people. Quiet location, clean, friendly owners, very thorough and well organized welcome book. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay
Stayed here while visiting family for the holidays. What a great surprise. Perfectly located near everywhere we needed to be. Imaculately kept in a safe and friendly neighborhood. A big thank you to the host for a fantastic experience!

Lovely little house. Easy access to Brownwood and Spanish Springs Squares. We did not have a car… only used a golf cart for the week we were there. Owners very responsive to our needs.

Wonderful
It was amazing!!! Very clean, well maintained. It was very relaxing and as they say a honeymoon .It was a great vacation. We met with my parents who live in the Villages. I recommend this Villa with all the amenities you need to stay vs a hotel. I want to thank you for your hospitality. Also that at your Villa I said yes to his proposal.:) It is truly a magical place to stay. Thank you and hope to stay again.

Beautiful house
The house was just perfect for my husband and myself. It was very pretty inside as well as outside. It was close to Spanish Springs where there was music playing in the square. We will definitely go back to stay again.

This Marilyn House Rocks!
You walk in- the music, the scents, the Memorabilia, it’s is totally amazing!!! This is by far the best rental in the Villages and I’ve had 4 so far. This will be my go to - from here on out!!

Marilyn’s Retreat
It was beautifully decorated. Mark was very helpful. He got guest cards to The Villages so we could use the amenities. Pool, Spanish Springs Square & shopping were very close. There is a golf cart to use. This is one of my favorite VRBOs.

Perfect getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marilyn's Romantic Getaway. The owner Mark was very helpful and quickly answered any questions we had during our stay. The home was absolutely beautiful inside. Immaculate and clean. We enjoyed lounging in the reclining sofa at the end of the day as well as the lanai. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. We didn't get to take advantage of using the golf cart but next time for sure. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We took advantage of the restaurants and nightlife in nearby Spanish Springs. You are literally 10 minutes or less from anything you could possibly need during your stay. I highly recommend this property. Thank you again Mark for a fabulous stay. Look forward to staying here again next year!

Very good house and location
Me and my wife were on a three week vacation in The Villages. The house was well equipped and clean. The communication with the owner was very good and he was very helpful. The golf cart was very good. I would recommend this place for all couples for longer or shorter staying.

Wonderful location in a clean, well keep house. Golf cart and bikes included. Hosts showed us around the first day and checked if we needed anything during our stay. One of the best VRBO values we have had. Recommend this place to anyone visiting the Villages.

Sets the standard for property managers everywhere!
My company is in the vacation property management business , so I know excellence when I see it! Mark “gets it”...property attacks all your senses in a very positive way upon arrival and entry and nothing is less than exceptional ! If you are looking for a cozy getaway that is reasonably convenient to the best the Villages has to offer , with an outstanding host ... you have found it !!

A gorgeous & clean home
This was the best experience we have ever had renting a property. The property owners are the nicest people you will ever meet and the house is very clean and very nicely decorated. We slept like babies in a very comfortable bed and when we weren't out exploring the villages in the golf cart, we enjoyed the comforts of this wonderful home which is located in a quiet neighborhood away from main roads and any other noise. It was a relaxing time in front of the fireplace as well. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back real soon. Thank you Mark & Bridget.

Very happy with home & owners. Mark & Bridget checked in with us a couple times during stay to be sure we were comfortable & if we needed anything. The home was very clean & comfortable. It was exactly like pictured. Very nicely decorated. Easy check in & was able to access property early. Kitchen was will stocked with cooking utensils. Access to golf cart was a plus. It came in handy driving around The Villages and golfing. Location was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood halfway between Sumter & Spanish Springs. All neighbors were friendly. We felt very safe. Would definitely recommend & love to stay again.

Awesome hosts, awesome house!
The Marilyn house felt like home and had much more room than I had anticipated. Loved the custom welcome gift, driving everywhere by golf cart, sitting in the Lanai and on the patio while working remote. Nice thought through amenities too! This is a great location to go between Sumter Landing and Spanish Springs, depending on the nights entertainment. Checked out many pools and found Chula Vista to be the most social. This was my first visit to The Villages to explore the lifestyle to see if it'd be a good fit for me ... no questions about it. Even with the pandemic there was so much to do; people are friendly and accepting to organized group activities. Mark and Bridget went above and beyond to make sure we were happy - from the chilled wine awaiting us after a long day of travel, to guiding us to the grocery in the dark on our first night, arranging guest passes, giving us a tour to a few hot spots and being very responsive to questions and needs. Thanks Mark and Bridget for sharing your place and being awesome hosts!

Fantastic House
This is the best house I have ever rented in The Villages and will definitely rent again when Im in the area. The house is spotlessly clean and definitely has a homie and welcoming feel. The posted pictures are all accurate and the house is even better than the pics. The owners, Bridget and Mark, live close by and go out of their way to make sure your stay meets your expectations. They came over when I arrived and walked me thru all the perks in the house and made sure I knew where everything was. They are a friendly and awesome couple and really care about their visitors. Ive already rented the house again for Sept and cant wait to get back. I guarantee you fall in love with the house and them.

4th of July Stay at Marylin
We stayed at this property from July 1 thru July 5. We absolutely had a great time and loved the property. The house was immaculate and very well furnished. We wanted for nothing. The owners where waiting for us as we pulled into the driveway and where super nice. The location of the house is also great. You are a golf cart ride (also provided by the property) away from 3 pools, golf courses, and shopping. The outside of the house is also very well taken care of. We definitely are planning on using this property again for a much longer stay in the future. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.
