Great place and location.
We would stay again. The accommodation was fantastic and was in a great location for all the activities we wanted to do. A beautiful view in the evenings to come home to.

Nice place
The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. The only thing that I have to complain about is the cleanliness of the place. I had to pay a cleaning fee, yet the cottage was not very clean in some areas. I spilled some water on the floor and when I mopped it up the cloth came away filthy. Same with the table top, it had sticky rings from a glass on it and was quite dirty.

Incredible View!
I’m not sure you could find a cleaner nor more comfortable vrbo in Port Renfrew. In addition, the views are spectacular!!! If I am ever fortunate enough to visit Port Renfrew again, River Raven will be, without exception, my first choice in places to stay.

Absolutely Gorgeous Condo
The condo was so much more than what we expected. Very clean, lots of room. Incredible views from the deck. Close to a lot of hiking trails. Loved the feel of being out in nature. Highly recommend.

Great first stay on Vancouver Island
Comfortable house, beautiful view, and lovely little town. We had a great couple of days, enjoying nearby hikes at Botany Bay and Sombrío Beach and spotting sea lions off the dock by the pub. Spectacular stay!

Location, location, location!
Spectacular views and comfortable accommodations are what you can expect here. We loved our stay. If you plan to cook, buy groceries ahead of arriving. Gorgeous hikes and peaceful quiet.

This property was exceptional. Very clean and all appliances worked well. The pantry was stocked with common items, which when travelling didn't have to go without. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. There was nothing missing The location was excellent, beautiful scenery. We enjoys our stay extremely.

River Raven is a great perch above the sea
This vacation rental was perfect for our four days visiting Port Renfrew. We had busy days hiking the Juan de Fuca Trail, exploring tidepools at Botany Beach, experiencing ancient forests, and taking long walks along the beaches. We found the space very welcoming and bright to come home to. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck perched above the sea. Very relaxing and there were always interesting things to watch. We will recommend River Raven to family and friends.

Beautiful view!
Wonderful and relaxing. Sitting on balcony and in living area so beautiful to look at water and mountains and watch clouds and boats. Beautiful rides in forests and hiking trails very close. Beds very comfortable and linens nice. Amazing stay! So glad we brought food with us! 5 restaurants, 3 close at 5, take restaurant closes at 7, Pub/food closes at 9!

Beautiful cottage with stunning views . My wife is picky about cleanliness and found everything very neat and clean. We had a wonderful week exploring Vancouver Island (well, the lower half; we'll need to come back for the northern part).

Ok, the cabin and view were what we expected, very nice. When we arrived the strong odour of bacon fat greeted us at the door. We spent 2 hours cleaning the hood fan which was dripping grease onto the stove. The next day we realized someone had put the kettle in a pan of fat, that took some cleaning. The previous occupant took the yoga mat and we were short some towels, which the cleaner brought around. Fyi all the bowls were cracked or chipped and the flipper had been melted in the gas stove. Generally we had a good time but these little things took the edge off the pleasure. The shower could have a grab bar for saftey.

Lovely waterfront property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Very modern and clean with a beautiful view and surroundings. The only glitch in the process was locating the house in the dark and contact had to be called for better directions as no numbers were visible. In addition the house was VERY cold upon our arrival on a cool night and being electric heat took several hours to warm up. Some suggestions would be an outside light with either a motion sensor, timer or solar to trigger visibility at night as well as having the heat turned up in anticipation of guests arrival. In addition the supply of Kleenex in the house would have been a nice touch. Overall though - a very pleasant stay.

We made a great choice
Good directions to property. Everything we needed was there. Excellent heating. Fan in bathroom ran entire time and we couldn’t turn it off.

The view is spectacular, and the unit is really nice and clean. Eagle flies by everyday. The only thing we don't like is that the pillow in the second bedroom is too soft with no support. Other than that, this is perfect.

Really great property with a wonderful view of the water. We were lucky enough to have excellent weather and really enjoyed the views from the deck. Nearby hiking and trails were exactly what we were looking for. Great place. Would love to come back again.

Beautiful & peaceful Port Renfrew
My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night stay. Well equipped cottage and had all the modern amenities in a beautiful rugged setting. We felt comfortable & relaxed in nature with the comforts we are used to at home.

A very scenic calming place to stay!
Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautifully located cottage. The place was so bright and airy with the natural sunlight and tall ceilings; and, the view, spectacular! Our weekend was a whole lot colder than we expected -4c, but the fireplace warmed us up. The beds were so so comfy! The kitchen has everything you need and then some. Only recommendation would be some small plates. It was great that the restaurant was just down the road as well. The location is perfect, just between avatar grove and Sombrero Beach and Botanical Beach was amazing, at low tide. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for sharing your cozy little cottage.

Some extra blankets to sit outside and watch the water would be nice. Also, binoculars and a small fire pit to keep warm with the uninterrupted view of the ocean.
