The Kinloch Ainort Apartments were a joy - so peaceful with the sheep grazing and the quiet of the area. The apartments appear to be brand new. They are spacious and have everything you will need for a great stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot! We traveled to Broadford (15 minutes or so away) to get groceries at the CoOp. We also enjoyed a really good pizza at Cafetesia there. After visiting busy Portree on our trip around the Isle we are glad we chose a quieter place!

Words can’t even explain how beautiful this property is. The view from your room is breathtaking. The sheep has to be the best part:) The room was so clean and had everything we needed. This place is highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. I promise.

Had minor issues with clogged toilet on our last morning before leaving. Nothing major though. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with awesome morning views of the sun rising over the mountains. We will be staying here again next time we get out this way!

Wundervolle idyllische Unterkunft von der wir Isle of Skye erkundet haben. Sehr geräumig und wunderschön eingerichtet und die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet. Das aufwachen mit dem wunderschönen Blick auf die Natur und die Schafe war einfach unbezahlbar! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Hidden Gem!
My mom and I had the perfect stay at Kinloch Ainort Apartments! The hotel is situated in a picturesque setting on a sheep farm and is a 15 minute drive to Broadford which has shops and restaurants and is also less than a 45 minute drive from almost everything on the Isle of Skye. The host, Kenny, was very responsive and helpful upon check-in. The hotel room was clean, well designed and had all the amenities you could need, the available laundry was also a nice bonus! We’ll definitely be staying here again upon returning to Scotland!

OK, start with the idea of staying in a half-converted sheep shed (one half is 4 rental units, the other half is a working farm shed), place it on a remote single-track road that is closed due to a landslide at the far end, with nothing else nearby but the owners house up the road, and it sounds kind of odd. Having said that, it was absolutely WONDERFUL! We stayed there three nights, met a lot of folks coming and going (they also permit RVs to camp in the parking area), and loved every minute. The views of the surrounding mountains are unparalleled. It also sits on a tidal loch, so you get the salt-water fragrance with seagulls, hillsides covered with heather and old walking trails, a small flock of sheep that graze onsite, and it is just magical. The room itself was large, airy, and had great and complete kitchen facilities.

Staying here was my favorite part of our vacation. The room and kitchen is clean and welcoming. The laundry facilities were wonderful. The views from the full wall windows are amazing. The owners are very nice to communicate with. To get here we rented a car from Skye car rentals at the Kyle of Lochalsh side of the bridge. I was scared to drive on the left but I highly recommend driving on Skye. You can get more places in car and the drivers there are very considerate if you want to drive slow, you can move to the side or they will pass you. All in all this stay at Kinloch Airnort was an 11/10!

Exceptional and unique place to stay. The property is efficient, clean, and had everything we needed in a self-catering apartment. The views are wonderful and the hosts were responsive and helpful when we needed it.

Well situated on Skye to start the Skye loop. Not a lot of food options nearby so make sure to make dinner reservations ahead of time or stop at the grocery store on your way in.

Wunderschöne Lage am Wasser
Das Appartment ist sehr neu, sauber und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit Geschirr inkl Pfannen etc, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschiene, Ofen, Mikrowelle. Die Unterkunft befindet sich ca. 10 Fahrminuten von Broadford etwas abgelegen. Es ist jedoch sehr schön ruhig und die Aussicht aufs Wasser und die Berge wunderschön. Auf der Wiese grasen die Schafe des Besitzers. Es sind insgesamt 4 Appartments. W-Lan ist vorhanden. Für uns war es ein idealer Startpunkt um mit dem Auto die Insel zu erkunden. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben.
