quiet, clean, and close to a beautiful park
My husband and I rented this property for three days between Christmas and New Year. Lovely spot, quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed this small cottage, which for us was perfect - comfortable, clean, quiet, and located near a beautiful park that opens on the lake. Weather was foggy and rainy, but we enjoyed the stay nonetheless. The place is clean, warm, and nicely decorated - interesting, but not over the top. We loved it, and yes, we would rent it again.

Awful stay! The house was FILTHY dirty! No towels, paper towels, and 1 roll of toilet tissue. The seller tacked on a bunch of extra charges, I am fighting with the company to get a refund. The whole house had to be cleaned by ME to even stay one night. There were spiders in every room, in every corner of the house. I had to vacuum them all down before we could even enter. DO NOT recommend this place at all. BEWARE!

Great location near beaches
Stayed here with my wife and two young children for a long weekend. The place was perfect for a getaway that is not a long drive from Toronto. The nearby beaches are great for young kids and not too busy. There is also a big park a short walk away which our kids loved.

Great stay for my family ! :)
Family of 4 - we had a great stay! 2 minute walk to a nice beach and playground and walking paths. Property owner always responded right away! We brought a portable BBQ with us! We will definitely come again next year! - next time we will bring a wagon to carry our things to the beach! :)

Cottage Life...like for real
Accommodations were good for the cost. Older cottage feel. No air conditioning but that was my oversite when booking. Would have liked a toaster and coffee maker for making breakfast. Beach access was not clear or very accessible. Ended up going to Centennial Beach, Barrie and paid crazy $ for parking! Shower and bathroom were spacious and lovely. It is extremely quiet except for the neighbour that is up at 730am power blowing his driveway...like every morning. The lengthy rules were hard to keep track of at times, but I think we did okay! Overall, nice quiet stay. Will stay in Barrie next trip, closer to everything. Thanks for having us!

Hot nice days, no conditioner in the house
It was 2 nights stay with my daughter. Pleasant area, big trees around, short distance to the little nice beach.I enjoyed seeing flowers around the house. House itself on the old side, but has a great shower, which I really enjoyed. Would reccomend to remove carpet in bedrooms. It was very staffy when we entered the house, there is no air conditioner. It was 30' C both days, and only fan in living room. Was hard to sleep because was hot and no air in bedrooms even if we kept windows and doors opened...Beds are comfortable, except one didn't have a headboard, which is inconvenient. Houses side door's lock was broken and we couldn't close it for the night, so I had to support it with the chair.. It advertised as 3 bedrooms house, but there are only 2 bedrooms for use, while 3rd was locked. There is a big porch, where one can base under the sun but no lounge chairs. Kitchen seemed well equipped and has a big fridge. We didn't cook as we enjoyed delishious egg Benedict at Sunset grill , exeptional salad at St. Louise restaurant and the best fish and chips in town at Fork and plate🤗

The property was quaint but run down. The couches in the livinroom need replacing. Deni the host, attempted to make the bigger couch usable by putting a plywood board under the cushions. The place is not clean and needs a paint job. The carpets were dirty and the floor is cracked. Many kitchen amenities were missing. Bring your own coffee maker. The pans are garbage. No A/C and the ceiling fans do little and are noisy. Would not stay here again.

Great!
We again had a great time at this little cottage! Just the get away we needed to revive us. I have been dealing with insomnia and after two nights of being there I was sleeping normal again and that has continued since I’ve come home. It was the reset I needed. I’m sure we will be making this a regular thing. Thanks for everything Dennis!

My husband and I had a great time at this cute cottage! Fire pit in back yard was great on our final night. Very close to the beach and town. Wonderful little bakery only a two minute drive away. We loved it and look forward to doing it again.

Very Nice Stay
Great location, owners very responsive. Suggestions: very minimal kitchen supplies. Not much around the house to do (board games, books, balls, etc.). Overall great location, clean place and would stay there again.

Close walk to the water! Be great for a young family, as the little beaches are nice, but very busy on weekends. FYI: Cottage is clean, no A/C, no coffee maker, or BBQ, so be prepared. Fire pit around back. Close to amenities too.

Lovely escape from the city
Check in was flawless, Denis was very communicative, responsive and flexible. The property and location were exactly as described. Heads up for any future guests that plan to cook while there - bring your own coffee maker, strainer, rubber spatula, olive oil, etc. We made due, but definitely would have brought these things if we knew the kitchen wasn't fully stocked. Highly recommend for an escape from the city. Thanks, Denis!

Very cozy cottage with a nice living room and comfy beds in each bedroom. Owner (Denis) was so nice and responded to messages within minutes. Place is as advertised and in a beautiful area. We visited in winter to ski nearby, but still loved walking the path by the lake a block away. Would highly recommend

Cozy cottage near the beach
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Location was perfect and we were able to walk to Innisfil Beach Park in a few minutes. Very handy with a two year old. We did however stay during a heatwave and my granddaughter was not able to sleep very well. Ceiling fans in the living room didn’t help much in the bedrooms so we purchased another floor fan (there is one at the property). We brought a coffee maker and toaster as these weren’t provided. Left the toaster for the next guests. Fire pit in the backyard was great as well. Overall we would stay again but maybe when it’s a bit cooler at night.

Save your money
Mediocre place, not clean at all, for paying such a large cleaning fee did not expect hairs in the fridge and a smell coming from it. You would think if you were asked to take your garbage back home with you, there would be some sort of garbage bag provided there was none. Ending note a 10am check out seems odd when the check in is as late at 4pm. As well as your wasting more time in the morning as you are asked to basically clean and strip everything, once again what does my cleaning fee go towards? Would definitely not stay again.

Enjoyed our 4 days stay
The house is very clean and Denis responded to any inquires almost instantly. The park and the beaches are very close to the house and our kid enjoyed both the beach and the kids playground. We had a great time here and will come back for sure.

My wife and 7 year old spent 5 days at the property. The location is fabulous, a 3 minute walk from the sand beach. Denis was always quick to respond to our questions. There are some things that would have made the stay even better. The amenities listed are the ones there - so please read carefully. There is no coffeemaker, Toaster or BBQ on site, which we only realized the day before. We also only realized on site that we do need to dispose of our own garbage. There were a black bin and a green bin with liners/bags under the sink, which we ended up having to take home. No recycling bins. Not a big issue but maybe helpful for others to know. It would seem that paying a couple dollars more per day up front but including this service would make a lot of sense. Again Overall we had a great stay, but wanted to share these details for future guests to prepare.

Great getaway
My family loved the cottage. My son wanted to stay forever. So spacious, comfortable beds, felt very safe. Keyless entry was great. Walking distance to the sandy beach. Hope to stay there next year again!

Run down cabin
I never write reviews however i have to say for the amount of money we paid for 2 days I was expecting a low more. The home is run down and definitely in need of repair. The home has no air condition, no towels, and very few amenities including no coffee machine. The home smelled damp and it had very limited seating. I will not be returning but I will say Denis the host was there to answer our calls throughout.

The property was good, the neighbours were very nice. The walk to the beach was an actual 3 minute walk to a nice small sandy beach. There were several spots of small sandy beaches. The park was maybe a 10 minute walk with a snack bar.

The perfect weekend getaway!
We were in need of a serious girl’s weekend getaway and this was just what we needed. The beach was so so close, the cottage was cute and cozy! It did get a little hot at night due to no A/C but was manageable. Only thing we missed was the bbq, as we had brought up a lot of bbqing food, but we made due with the oven. Thank you Denis for such a wonderful stay!!

Excellent location beach is walking minutes away. Clean and tidy. Beautiful garden cozy trellace on the deck. Comfortable and homey. Kitchen great for simple meals. We had a great time and Denis was very helpful and easy to contact. Definitely would return beach was amazing.

Formidables vacances familiales
La maison était parfaite pour notre vacance d’une semaine en famille nous avons particulièrement apprécié la proximité du parc et de la plage. Emplacement idéal avec les enfants! A small cottage getaway
Clean space and lots of beds, walking distance to the water in nice neighbourhood as described. Host was very reachable by messaging. Rooms had double beds but very small, so they could just fit baby playpens. Also very hot even with all the windows open due to no air-conditioning, and Wi-fi would drop every so often.

Fishing Trip
A few buddies of mine and myself had the pleasure of staying here during a weekend ice fishing trip. The cottage suited us well and was in close proximity to the lake and a public access. The long driveway was nice as we had enough room for our truck and trailer to fit. Only thing that was missing was a coffee pot, but we had planned for that and brought our own.

Fishing get away
Came to the Innisfil area to do some fishing on Lake Simcoe. This was a quick drive to where we needed to be. Denis responded very quickly to any messages that we sent him. Overall, it was a nice stay.
