The hotel is dated. Though, acceptable cleanliness but if hotel amenities is big on your list, I would not choose to stay here. The hotel is pretty far from Wan Chai MTR station. You can catch bus 10 in front of the hotel which it will eventually take you down to the main street where you can catch MTR. When I took it, it literally stop at each stop, do it took about 10 mins. The hotel offers shuttle but at their sister hotel down the block, still convenient but they only run once an hr. Taxi costed me $300 to the airport in the early morning hours. They do not offer bottled water in the room.

Our hotel is located amid Wanchai and Causeway Bay where the closest MTR station as well as numerous shopping and dining options are just in minutes of walk. Free shuttle bus service with stops at Wanchai, Causeway Bay and Central is also available daily to ensure a hassle-free stay for everyone. Not sure why it could be called VIP? It is very old and not maintained. 2 cockroaches in 7 days stay. I think the staffs did regular cleaning in rooms but I doubt much is done to the building. Carpet is stained everywhere.

The bathrooms were a bit dated (we stayed in 2 different rooms). Staffs were friendly and helpful. Location is great for us. Will likely stay again

The staff was amazing, they are very accommodating. My only comment was the bed I requested for a single double / queen size bed but they give us to single bed put together. They only have 2 pillows that seems like it was used for months the pillows are not comfortable at all. The location of the hotel is very nice

This was a great place pre-pandemic, but now the facilities are tired and worn down, plus the dining room (where breakfast buffet used to be served) is now closed. The staff is really great, kind and helpful, but overall the place needs some TLC. I won't be staying there again until it's renovated.

Stuffs were nice and helpful. Like the shuttle bus service. Like there's rotation of the complimentary breakfasts. However, inside the room, the carpet was old and looked dirty. The sink area in the bathroom also needed update. The clothes closet was in a kind of awkward area and was too small even for 2 people use.

I've stayed at the Cosmo on plenty of occasions, and it's always a decent place to stay. I did notice this time that the selection of television channels is pretty poor, but it's only a minor quibble.

services are very unfriendly; the service workers even can shout at us when we ask for cotton that they don't automatically refill when they clean up the room. overall, will never stay this kind of unpolite manner hotels. no respect at all. this is showing how poor is the hospitality

The reception area, so our first impression of the hotel was dirty. The floor was dirty and this was noticed as soon as we walked in. Under the edge of the glass on the reception desk was strips of dirt. Our first impression was oh no what have we done. To be fair the rooms were clean and comfy but dated. Cosmo hotel needs to work on their first impression. It wouldnt take a lot to make the reception not look like a dive

The staff and overall customer service is very good, but the building and some of the rooms are VERY dated. Would advise seeing the room first before settling in. That being said, the staff went above and beyond to make the stay was a good one. Great customer servicing!

not a good hotel ... breakfeast was worst than a cheap airline , no restaurants near hotel , staff overall could not speak english , not easy to get taxis

I've been coming to this hotel since 2015. It has not been well maintained. Carpets are dirty and unkempt. the room was adequate but not cleaned properly - greasy surfaces, dirty carpets, dirty bathroom fixtures, room not cleaned on 2 mornings out of 3???. No effort made to lay out the resto on the G/F even if it remains closed after COVID. Very sad.

Staff service was good. Shuttle service was good and on time. Restaurant was under renovation at the time of my stay, hotel provided breakfast box each day but the food was average. Bathroom probably needs upgrade and there should be a mirror somewhere in the room for make-up purposes for the ladies.

Could not reach the hotel prior to arrival to I for of other guests different arrival time which made the check in a pain for them. Asked for the reception to call a taxi for me when checking out and was told no. There’s absolutely zero customer service and the hotel is pretty old, in a bad need of an update.

Convenient Location
All the staff at Cosmo hotel are friendly, they provide excellent services. Hotel provides convenient free breakfast box with good quality food. Personally I think the whole building needs renovation.
