Skønt hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed
Det er 2. gang vi er på hotellet og vi vil helt sikkert komme igen. Personalet er top professionelt, lokaliteterne er skønne, fitness center fungerer, chefkok har styr på mad og kan informere og vejlede om diæt/ingredienser. De 2 a’la carte restauranter er et fint alternativ: Vi valgte en Lobster Menu på DeGu7 restaurant. Kan også klart anbefales. Jeg synes det er ærgerligt at hotel slækker/har droppet dresscode vedr. lange bukser til mænd. Det højner generelt gæsters, især mændenes påklædning, at de har pæne bukser på til dinner. Men skøn skøn ferie på det bedste hotel!!!

fint hotel, man skal nok bo i hoved bygningen mod poolen hvis man vil ha en god udsigt og nyere værelser, alt i alt ok hotel til prisen, men hotellet er ikke et 5 stjernet, måske et græsk 5 stjernet, deres fitness rum er to håndvægte, to træningsmaskiner og den ene virker ikke, der nogle løbebånd og par cykler. maden er ikke dårligt men slet ikke i nærheden af en 5 stjernet hotel buffet, feks til morgenmad er der ikke friskpresset juice men derimod saftevand i alle farver, det all inkl hotel men det de billigste alkohol flasker vodka rum osv og det smager af jeg ved ikke hvad men som skrevet ok hotel til 90€ for all inkl for 2 personer... så prisen er afgørende

Servicen var i top. Der var intet vi kunne beklage os over. Vender absolut tilbage til dette hotel.

Gode: - fantastisk flot hotel med egen strand - venligt engelsk talende personale - god bellighed tæt på Rhodos by og Lufthavnen. - god all-inklusive med vildt gode drinks mv (og de sparer ikke på alcoholen. Stort udvalg. Dog er øl og vin lokale men ellers anvendes Pepsi - god underholdning (musik/shows) hver dag - 2 gode pools - fantastisk udsigt fra værelset over vandet til Tyrkiet - mulighed for at ligge på stranden med drinks og aften med solnedgangen eller efterfølgende dæmpet belysning - virkelig hyggeligt. Dårlige: - ikke helt børnefrit. Vi oplevede enkelte børn (græske børn, vi gætter på det var personalets egne børn) - selvom det er et voksen hotel, så mangler der pool-regler. Der var flere unge barnlige mænd i poolen, som spillede voldsomt "tennis" i poolen, og ramte drinks og gæster flere gange. Der var generelt også flere som havde taget store badedyr med - ikke det jeg tænker om et voksent 5-stjernet. - maden ok, men lidt kedelig (nok nærmere 4 stjernet). Hver opmærksom på at de bl.a. serverer kanin og lignende. - flere gange problemer med at nøglekortet til værelset ikke fungerede. - selvom vi havde købt og betalt Deluxe værelse (med Spa) var alt optaget da vi kom. Heldigvis på 3 dagen blev vi flyttet dog stadig uden refusion.

Very nice Hotel, with friendly staff
Everything about this hotel just worked. From the minute we arrived, until the minute we left, we really felt that the staff would go the extra mile to make sure that we enjoyed our vacation. It goes from the staff in the reception, the friendly staff in the pool area, to the always smiling maids, and last, but not least, to the staff in the restaurant – who always smiled and acted professional no matter how busty they were. And of cause the cool bartenders in the evening bar – these guys really understood to mix drinks.

Vi har boet på hotellet en uge under vores ferie og kan helt klart anbefale dette hotel. Hvis man ønsker en ferie, hvor man ikke skal tænke på noget og hvor servicen er helt i top, skal man vælge Ixian Grand. Vores værelse var simpelthen så fint og rengøringen kunne man ikke sætte en finger på hele ugen. Vi nød at benytte hotellets pool og de dertilhørende liggestole. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen!

Enjoying the best sea view hotel
The stay at the hotel was great. The hotel looks just as described. The rooms are large and comfortable as well as very clean. I would recommend to book a sea view room to enjoy the the garden, the pool as well as the sea. Nice access to both the pools as well as the sea. Rich breakfast. The hotel has a great renting company inside providing good (and low price) cars to rent as well as trip advice. It is nice to rent a soft top car and go round the island to enjoy its beauty. Close to the hotel are also taverns where to go and try different food. The WiFi is poor, but as long as you stay in the lobby is decent enough. The waiters are extremely loud and not at all professional, therefore their service is poor. Also the drinks offered at the bar are not that good and most of their soft drinks (if not bottled) is cheap soda (McDonald's style). Also the common toilet area was always really dirty. Overall, excluding the poor waiter service, and the cleanness of the common toilet and the poor WiFi everything else is great. Nice looking hotel, fantastic view, great and clean swimming pools.

Et rigtig dejligt sted at bo ! God beliggenhed til 2 nærliggende byområder og kort taxatur til Rhodos by ! Meget komfortabel værelser med god plads (vælg med havudsigt) ! Dejlig morgenmadsbuffet med alt for en hver smag ! 2 helt igennem skønne og meget store pools (1 med klor og 1 med saltvand) ! Gratis vand dagligt på værelset, morgenkåber og sutsko ! Hjælpsomt personale ! HUSK ! Mænd bliver påkrævet lange bukser, til aftens spisning på hotellet !

Fantastisk Bryllupsferie
Min kone og jeg velgte i sidste øjeblik at bestille bryllupsferie på The Ixian Grand, det er ikke fortrudt. Vi ankom på hotellet og blev budt velkommen med et glas Champange, portieren kom og bar vores bagage hen på værelset. Vi ankommer til voreas Grand Suite som er intet mindre end fantastisk, minimalistisk og moderne, ca. 50 kvm spa på badeværelset og den mest fantastiske terasse med ca. 40 kvm privat pool. terasse og pool var anlagt meget privat med buske omkring så de andre gæster ikke kunne se ind. morgen maden på hotellet lever klart op til forventningerne. aftensmaden kan dog findes bedre på restaurenterne i rhodos by. alt i alt en fantastisk ferie, og en hotel vi gerne vil besøge igen....

The Ixian Grand - Luksusoplevelse på Rhodos
Super flot hotel. Suverænt pool-område med bar, liggestole og håndklædeservice. Fin morgen-- og aftenbuffet. Daglig rengøring. Super venligt receptionspersonale. Eneste minus er dets placering langt fra Rodos City, men en 8-minutters tur i taxa løser dette lille problem. Jeg var super tilfreds med mit ophold på The Ixian Grand!

The Ixian Grand is incredible. This was our 3rd stay here and we are staying again in October. The Hotel itself is clean, welcoming and has everything you could possibly want for a relaxing, chilled out holiday. There are plenty of sunbeds to go round and you dont have to fight for one or reserve one. The food is great. We always eat at the buffet vis a vis reataurant. Plenty of choice. You can go up as many times as you like with a fresh plate and all the food is replenished promtly, so no need to load up with everything. The poolside snack bar is fantastic if you dont want a heavy lunch. The rooms are very clean and lots of amenities. The inside and outside bars are great and good selection of drinks included with all inclusive. The thing that sets this hotel apart from the others is the staff. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasurable one. Even on our first stay they were incredible. The reception team are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The Porters and the transfer guys are fantastic. All of the restaurant staff are amazing. No request is too much trouble. One of my friends is allergic to peanuts and seafood and the restaurant team are so knowledgeable we had no worry about what they could eat. Finally the housekeeping staff were very friendly. We even noticed that the Hotel management were always at the hotel and worked just as hard as all the staff. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is fatastic.

To put it politely, this hotel is pushing a below average 4 star. No way in hell can they consider themselves even close to 5 star. The hotel is generally shabby and needs a big glow up. The outdoor bar area could be much better utilised and presented. The evening entertainment was laughably bad. Having stuff like daily water aerobics at the main pool is far from a 5 star experience they advertise. The gym is a dusty shed with dreadful equipment- again not 5 star. The place was full of riff raff wall to wall. The staff however were very polite (minus the one who decided to steal my gold necklace from our room whilst we were out). In therms of the food and drink situation, they fail to tell you the full terms of ‘all inclusive’ until you arrive. They only allow one visit to the restaurants per stay, which also limit the food you can eat, so we left hungry. The food however was good throughout the stay. The choices of alcohol were terrible. The rooms were nice enough with big comfy beds, but again wouldn’t say are close to a 5 star stay. All in all, the location makes up for the majority of the above but this hotel doesn’t come to close to a 5 star stay/experience and wouldn’t recommend staying here at the prices they advertise during peak times having had stuff stolen from our room.

A perfect hotel for a quiet and relaxing vacation
Excellent location. With a clean and tidy beach. We took a room with a bath with a sea view. The room is slightly comfortable but a little outdated. Excellent service, tasty food but not varied. A real vacation hotel. Without children, a perfect experience Perfect for couples

We had a lovely time, the staff, food, and accommodation were spot on, our suite was right on the beachfront, we ate in the restaurant that was exclusive to the suites and the food was great, nothing was too much trouble. We hired a car for a couple of days and went around the island, which was enjoyable, hiring the car at the hotel was quick and easy. I would recommend The jewellers in the hotel, I bought a ring which was very reasonably priced, a lot cheaper and better quality than in the uk. Would definitely recommend, and we will go back.

Loved the scenery, beautiful location. Superb service by all staff members who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Food and drink were the only two items which could’ve been better. Food was a bit hit or miss: either delicious or quite bland. cocktails were not particularly enjoyable as extremely strong and didn’t taste nice. WARNING though, if doing all inclusive for fewer than 7 nights, the hotel doesn’t let you use any other restaurant other than the main one — unless you pay extra…

I loved the staff, the service was always above and beyond. It was clean and we felt safe. The ala carte restaurant was excellent . The buffet restaurant was hit or miss. They also need bathroom facilities near the pool not inside and down a flight of stairs in almost total darkness after coming in from the bright sun. The hot water for a shower in your room was only hot 2 times in our 7 day stay. Overall we were happy with our stay and would come back again

Das Hotel ist traumhaft schön. Wir hatten einen kleinen Pool am Zimmer, was wirklich toll war. Alles war extrem sauber und gepflegt. Jeder einzelne Angestellte des Hotel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem die Restaurantmitarbeiter waren großartig. Ich habe eine Lebensmittelallergie und sie haben sich so viel Mühe gegeben, ich hab mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Das Personal war stets freundlich. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gut gereinigt. Obwohl wir All-inclusive gebucht haben, sind nicht alle Getränke gratis und zeitlich auch nur bis einer gewissen Zeit. Danach zahlt man jedes Getränk. Das ist nicht wirklich All-inclusive und kundenfreundlich.

We were offered an upgrade a few days prior to our visit and we upgraded. So glad we did! The room, the view, location, access to all restaurants was worth every penny. The front desk staff was very helpful. Food was delicious. Our stay was wonderful from the time they pick us up at airport. Highly recommend Ixian Grand!

- Positiv: 1. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und nicht zu salzig. 2. sehr freundliches Personal 3. das Deluxe-Zimmer mit Bad und Meerblick ist groß und die Aussicht ist schön - Negative Punkte: 1.das Zimmer und das Bad sind in die Jahre gekommen. 2. stinkender Geruch aus dem Abfluss im Bad. 3. sehr lautes Reinigungsteam. Obwohl auf der Vorderseite der Tür "Bitte nicht stören" steht, klopfen sie trotzdem an die Tür, so dass wir nicht wirklich ausruhen und schlafen konnten. 4. es war warm und stickig im Zimmer, so dass wir mit offener Tür geschlafen haben. Zu Ostern hat das Restaurant gegen 4 Uhr den Lammgrill angeheizt. Wir hatten einen schrecklichen Moment, als der Rauch ins Zimmer zog und wir alle Türen öffnen mussten. Sonst könnte man sich eine Rauchvergiftung holen.

After arriving at Ixia Grand we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel lobby area/bar was. Our next positive on arrival was to receive a room upgrade to a swim up pool room due to our original room being refurbished. The whole Holiday was a joy, staff were all very friendly and helpful, food and drinks very good especially the Greek a la carte meal, amenities great and location excellent for Rhodes town. A special mention goes to Aida who tirelessly attended to people’s drink requirements in the bar/lounge area, Argyro who always greeted us at the dining area with a beaming smile and Elena who tended to our table perfectly. A big thank you to all at the Ixia for a lovely holiday.
