This is a hidden gem in a city that may not see many tourists. The owners and chefs, John and Connie, were amazing!!!! They were very welcoming and hospitable! Check in was a great experience! They greeted us, took us into the kitchen to get our breakfast orders and treated us to some complimentary glasses of wine and homemade banana nut bread. Upstairs, they had a small table with complimentary small, chocolate pastries. We stayed in the Rose Room that had a king bed and a fire place! The following morning, our breakfast consisted of a small mixed fruit cup over a bed of Greek yogurt and topped with homemade granola. For our main breakfast I had a large omelet with all the fixings plus a side of sausage, and my wife had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and a side of bacon. Bear in mind, John and Connie are chefs, so the breakfast was world class!!! They also treated us to some homemade biscuits with homemade plum and Dutch apple pie jellies. To top our breakfast off, they made us two banana nut pancakes with organic New Hampshire maple syrup. Like I said, this breakfast was world class, and from what I have heard about other B&B experiences, this is the kind of breakfast you won’t find at any other American B&B! I highly recommend a trip up to Gainesville, Tx just to experience this wonderful, quaint, and surprisingly upscale B&B that has elements of fancy combined with a down home country demeanor!

I chose to experience this delightful BnB in Gainesville last night. While only there for a hot second, I was spoiled with yumminess, the kindest inn keepers, white glove service, and a full-helping of all “antique charm” that I adore. I would HIGHLY recommend the Lancaster Manor for special events or a simple reset. Cheers!

Quick couples overnight stay
Husband and I stayed here overnight and attended a concert at nearby Winstar Casino. Both husband & wife hostesses were wonderful and very sweet folks. B&B is very homey, absolutely love the antique feel... the stove in the kitchen is amazing looking (wish I had my own!) The treats, snacks and breakfast was all very delicious! Will definitely stay here again if we stay overnight for a concert or need a quick stay away from home!

Great Top Shelf B&B
Connie and John have created a really cool high quality experience. My wife and I are foodies and everything was top notch and well prepared. Great historical updated venue and close to Winstar. Excellent hosts!!

This place is a hidden gem. It is a beautiful B&B but that’s just the beginning. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I have never been treated so graciously by any host. They are both accomplished chefs and the snacks and breakfast were outstanding. Next time we will plan better ahead and let them cook us dinner the night before. They also run a shuttle to the casinos if time allows. We are already looking at dates to book a long weekend with them again.

The Best B and B of experience!
This was easily our favorite B and B stay. The hosts were engaging and enjoyable without being pushy or awkward. The food was delicious and to order. The room was clean and roomy without a lot of clutter like some B and B’s. Connie and John added lots of touches to make us feel welcome and at home.

Great service, cool history.
Service was amazing, but just keep in mind this place was built in the 1800’s and has no AC. They have window units to help but still no real AC. It’s very nostalgic and has a cool story behind it. The mattress was not comfortable at all, but the room itself was very nice. The smaller rooms share one restroom while the larger king size rooms have their own. Free beer, water, soda, tea & coffee are included but the wine bottles cost extra. I would recommend this for anyone looking to experience something like this but otherwise if your looking for more modern comfort I would suggest something else.

We are very proud of our 138 year old beauty and do our best to make sure our guests are comfortable despite her advanced age. No guest has ever said their room was not cool enough or that the mattress was uncomfortable. We wish you would have said something, we would have moved you to another room. Again, sorry you and Britni were not happy with your stay.

Connie and John made us feel at home. They spoiled us. Started with a glass of wine and home made desserts. They provided an amazing breakfast. Chocolates on our bed. A wonderful experience. Will hope to visit again and enjoy the hot tub and pool.

Nice getaway spot
Amazing place to stay, great food, good for couples who want to get away. The pool is nice and clean they also have a nice hot tub as well. Will definitely be back. I recommend getting the dinner with them as well!

The Best.
Amazing place, beautiful and extremely clean. And the food...2 chefs in the house to cook the best gourmet meal, best food we've ever eaten. John and Connie, the Innkeepers, take hospitality to a whole new level. We've been to many B&B before, but nothing compares to our stay there. If you don't stay at the Lancaster Manor, you'll cheat yourself out of a great blessing and wonderful experience. The location is great too.... Very close to so many fun things to do

Relaxing stay & incredible food
This was our second stay at the beautiful Lancaster Manor. We truly enjoyed both visits but this one felt extra special with all the gorgeous holiday decor. First stay was in The Cowboy Room and second was in The Rose Room. Both rooms are spacious with very comfortable king beds. Yummy brownies and slices of warm banana nut bread upon arrival is just a preview of what’s to come for breakfast. The breakfast is made to order and is so delicious. The banana walnut pancakes are a must have. We also had omelettes, bacon, biscuits, fruit and yogurt. Connie and John are amazing hosts who really aim to please. We can’t wait to return again to experience their dinner. We highly recommend Lancaster Manor for a relaxing couples getaway or a stay with family and friends.

Hidden Gem
This historic home has great charm and was great for a get-a-way weekend. The hosts, Connie and John, were super friendly and took great care of us. The food was fantastic. Be sure to ask about their special dinners. They also have a masseuse, which my wife said was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.

Do not go here under any circumstances. Total dump
Rude owners. Run down house masquerading as a hotel. Dark and musty. Unfriendly owners who tried to bill us after turning us away for having a child. Promised a refund then tried to bill our credit card

Brian Lee, You booked a 5 Star Romantic Adults Only B&B. Our policies are very clear about no children. You indicated on Expedia that it was 2 adults. That, in fact, was not the case. Had you been honest weeks ago when you booked, we would have refunded you immediately. You were not honest, you lied, just like you're doing now. We have a world class getaway spot for decompressing and reconnecting. that definition in itself does not include toddlers. We owed it to our 3 other couples to honor our policies (which were emailed to you weeks ago) and provide them with a quiet and impeccable experience. We are sorry that you either didn't read the policies, or just plain ignored them.. Either way, we are sorry.

This was agreat place to spend the evening. Owner operators were absolutley great. It was like being on a cruise ship. Anything you wanted was made available. The house has so much history and charm. Connie, the owner, has so much knowledge about the house and the area. David, Connie's husband and Chef, was friendly and makes fabulous foods. If not staying try to make reservations for one of his meals. We will stay there again. Don't miss out on this jewel.

Our stay was nothing short of wonderful! From the warm greeting to the chocolates on the pillow, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Breakfast was 5 stars and the attention to detail was outstanding! 10/10 would recommend to anyone passing through.

The Innkeepers were as lovely as the home and hospitality. We planned a last-minute trip, and were treated like royalty. The breakfast was beyond delicious. I had the Texas Pecan Waffle and 2 days later, I am still craving it!

The hosts were very friendly and showed amazing hospitality. The food was wonderful, definitely recommend the dinner! Hotel was clean, quiet, and the beds are so comfy. Hot tub was very relaxing.
