This home could easily be a 5 star home if it wasn't for multiple, increasingly annoying details. When we arrived, the house was clean and welcoming. However, I quickly discovered that we were short 3 sets of towels/washcloths for our registered group, and were only provided one hand towel for each bathroom (one was not provided for each towel ring). After contacting the property manager, we were given the code to the basement where we were able to get the towels we needed, and the toilet paper (only one roll was in each bathroom which did need replacing before we checked out). The house is spacious and beautiful, and we were comfortable in the neighborhood. That night, when we went to watch TV, we discovered the wired surround sound speakers were not connected to any switch we could find, so we watched TV using the very hollow sounding TV speaker. That was disappointing. The upstairs master has a lovely TV, but no way to watch if you want audio. A remote was provided for the fire stick, but nothing to control the actual TV. Another disappointment. Streaming on our phones didn't work because the wifi was so slow. The next day, we swapped stories and found out that lamps were not operational in each bedroom, light bulbs were not all working or were different light strength in the same vanity light fixture, and some outlets weren't working. One of the canned lights in the living room area is hanging down from the ceiling. The backyard is showing signs of neglect, and the dishwasher smells terrible and makes the dishes smell after washing them (seems like a mold problem). Also, the downstairs shower has mold growing on the wall near the ceiling. The cupboards and banister all have signs of wear (scratches and dings) which need to be repaired. There is a broken knob on the stove top which needs to be replaced. Finally, it was very hot while we were there and we quickly discovered that we had to adjust the thermostat every 2 hours (even during the night) to keep the house at a cool enough temperature. The one day we were out of the house for most of the day, we came home to a sweltering 82 degree house. It took a long time to cool it back to 70 degrees. If these issues were addressed and fixed, I would give it 5 stars, hands down. Set your expectations low, and you won't be disappointed. To the property managers, I say think about hotel provisions and try to at least provide what a hotel would (we had to buy kleenex for the house).
