Dejligt hotel
Dejligt rummeligt værelse, god seng, men lidt slidt badeværelse. Lækker morgenbuffet. Venlig og imødekommende personale. Dejlig centralt for gå ture i Edinburgh.

Hotellet fremstår slidt og trænger til en kraftig opdatering. På mit værelse manglet safetybox'en, hvilket kom bag på receptionisten. Hun skaffet dog hurtigt en ny, men den var ikke fastmonteret. Til kortere ophold går hotellet fint an.

Good position, but high price
Just a hotel without personality. We had a problem at check in, and had to wait a long time before getting our room. The room was not very spacious, the beds ok exept for the stiff pillows. I find the price high in proportion to the standard. Will not come again.

Helhedsindtrykket ok, men det var ikke normal 4-stjernet hotel. Vi skulle selv påpege en række forhold, fx. opfyldning af sæbedispenser, manglende rengøring, tømning af skraldespand mm. - Forhold som netop skal vær ei orden fra hotellets side for at være på et 4-stjernet niveau.

Opholdet var overordnet set fint. Værelset, morgenmad mv. var fint. Stor kritik dog til sovesofaen, som var opredt som ekstra seng: denne er elendig, og redes op uden f.eks. topmadras eller lignende.

Det er 2. Gang jeg benytter mig af Leonardo Haymarket. Jeg er meget tilfreds. Flinkt personale, gode rum, ok morgenmad, masser af spisesteder i nærheden. 2 min til haymarket station…. Kan klart anbefale dette hotel.

Fint hotel til weekendtur i centrum af Edinburgh
Centralt beliggende hotel tæt på tog, bus og tram. Flink og personlig personale ved indtjekningen. Selve hotelværelset bar dog præg af at være en smule slidt, og vores 'ekstra seng' på værelset var en læderdivan, som ikke bør bruges til overnatning.

Die Nähe zu Old Town und New Town, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen, und man hat eine gute Anbindung. Weil es in der Nähe von Haymarket Station ist.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were clean and the room well maintained during our stay. So overall, the staff are excellent. The restaurant food was excellent too. The state of the hotel however was disappointing. Online, it looks like a rather new and chic hotel with an old world charm. However, the hallway carpets were dirty and stained beyond what I have ever seen at other hotels of this calibre. The bathtub and surrounding walls looked like they haven’t had a good hard scrub in a long time. While we were very happy with our stay, the hotel definitely needs some serious attention on these very visible areas.

Poor value for money, bedroom carpet was stained by what looked like bleach, bathroom smelt of mould and the water pressure in the shower was very poor.......also incredibly noisy with a building site directly across the road and very noisy bars in the vicinity very difficult to sleep a very disappointing stay

Just needs an update. For as much as it costs it could really use a renovation. Dirty hall carpets are not what you want to see when walking to your room the first time. Staff was excellent! Location is ok as long as you like to walk (we do).

Super friendly staff, convenient downtown location to sites and dining. Good breakfast. Only bad, the tub/shower had really tall sides and no safety bar to hold onto getting in and out.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut- man kann die Innenstadt ganz einfach zu Fuß erreichen und hat viele Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und ist auch direkt beim Stop "Haymarket" von wo aus man den Bus zum Flughafen nehmen kann. Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht allzu sauber, aber es ist okay. Das Personal ist überwiegend nett, jedoch hatten wir auch 2 etwas unangenehme Situationen. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Im Großen und Ganzen hat alles gepasst, die Lage ist sehr gut und für ein City Hotel hat man alles was man braucht.

Property was clean and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable although pillows were not (in my opinion, I realize this is subjective). Water pressure was good and hot in the shower but it was not easy getting in and out of the tub the way it was positioned in the room. The main negative for us was that it wasn't really in close walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. When we got back from touring each day and were too exhausted to go very far, we ended up eating 3 nights in the hotel because it was the line of least resistance. The restaurant was nice and reasonably priced, however. Overall a great find and the most reasonably priced for that immediate area.

We had to wait around 10mins for someone to come to reception to check in even although we had checked in online we still needed to collect the key. Room was lovely and clean but a bit dated. The shower only trickled. All In a lovely stay and did the job for a night. Beds were nice and comfy
