Iconic QE2 great place to stay in Dubai lots of history around the ship. Had an amazing stay in a Captains balcony cabin very comfortable and great value for money. We had an evening flight to catch and were allowed a late check out from our cabin of 2pm. Will mest definitely stay again on any future trips to Dubai

Wir waren Silvester 2023/24 in Dubai und haben uns auf ein traditionsreiches Passagierschiff einquartiert. Der historische Charme des Schiffes, war leider das Einzige, was uns positiv von der Unterkunft in Erinnerung blieb. Die prachtvolle Eingangshalle hat Lust auf mehr gemacht. Leider wurden wir von sehr lauten und hellhörigen Zimmern enttäuscht. Wir mussten 3mal das Zimmer wechseln. Der Wechsel lief allerdings problemlos und sehr freundlich. Die Lüftung des Schiffes und der Fernseher der Nachbarzimmer ist in allen Zimmern sehr störend. Es waren einige Teile de Schiffes gesperrt, sodass es keine Möglichkeit gab eine Sonnenliege zu nutzen und einen Spaziergang im Freien zu machen. Sonst gab es keinerlei Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten auf dem Schiff. Das Gym und der Pool sind im Unterdeck schwer zu finden. Die fensterlose Einrichtung war sehr lieblos und ungemütlich (gruselig). Der Frühstücksaal war sehr in die Jahre gekommen/unmodern. Das Frühstück bot keinerlei Abwechslung und war absolut überteuert. Der Shuttleservice war vorhanden aber mit 10 vorhandenen Sitzplätzen ein Witz. Im Urlaub haben wir keine Lust auf Sitzstreit und haben uns immer ein Taxi bestellt. In der nähe des Schiffes ist nichts zu Fuß erreichbar. Das sollte man beachten. Ein angepriesener Shuttleservice zu einem traumhaften Strand führte uns zu einem lost place mit Wasserzugang. Die Einrichtung soll 2024 abgerissen werden. Fazit: Schiff von außen extrem beeindruckend und wunderschön, von innen eine Enttäusc

Das Schiff wirkt eher wie ein Museum. Alles ist schlecht ausgeschildert man erhält auch keine Einweisung wo sich was auf dem Schiff befindet. Das Personal ist leider für den Standard den man sonst in Dubai bekommt extrem unfreundlich. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, absolut gar nicht gefallen hat uns die aber Klimaanlage, diese ist nicht regelbar und das Zimmer war sehr feucht und die Bullaugen (Fenster) ließen sind nicht öffnen. Für 1-2 Nächte ist es in Ordnung wenn man ein sehr altes Schiff ausprobieren möchte auf dem es eigentlich nichts besonders mehr gibt.

I AM truly amazed at the beautiful historical ship Queen Elizabeth II. From the moment you walk in to the reception to the last day you leave the ship you’re in awe of the history and even spirits present on this ship. The customer service is superb and the staff are very kind and helpful. The ambiance of the actual ship is breathtaking and you also feel the ship lag … when I was on this ship Dubai experienced the largest flood of its history and so the ship felt amazing and mysterious in the storm and yet extremely safe thank YOU and will recommend it to my friends and family

This is a very unique and historical hotel. A museum as much as a hotel. Lido restaurant great for breakfast and evening meal. Rooms a bit dated and in need of a freshen up but still pleasant. Bed was amazing!!!

In terms of facilities it was sufficient however getting into town was a little challenging. The train station was a good walking distance through a construction site. The swimming pool was small and indoors it would benefit with outdoor pool. The concierge staff were fantastic.

The front desk service was terrible. Didn’t expect to wait at long queue upon arrival. No response from front desk for whatsoever request. Bell boy complained about low pay.

I was here for 2 weeks on business, had an amazing time. The staff were great and management was quite exceptional aswell. I will definitely return with my family next time.

What a fabulous place ! A little out of the way but worth every penny. The only tiny constructive criticism is they should have more receptionists during peak times. Other than that, the food the service, the staff, the views …everything was amazing.

Not so great
Location was not great, there was construction around the hotel and was very inconvenient. They were understaffed and checking in and out was super slow. The room itself was OK, I expected better conditions. There was no soap in the bathroom.

Never again!
Nothing worked. Couldn’t even check in. Many people waiting with me in line. No one of the staff was able to help. Fully paid the stay and they said the only way to check in again was to pay again for the room, which is ridiculous. Only good thing was that hotels.com booked me another stay so I could get at least some rest after several hours of waiting. Never ever again.

Food was good. Staff were excellent. Price was good. From a history point of view worth having a couple of nights. We stayed 7 nights that was too much. Location wad bad, away from everything, no metro nearby and nothing to do in the area. A convenient shop would have been good. Rooms were clean but ship looks outdated. Was surprised that need to pay for the tour but the guy doing the tour was brilliant.

Bel hôtel c'est pas tous les jours qu'on dort sur un bateau mythique, plein de recoins à visiter à l'intérieur. Vu sur le port ou sur la ville... Nous avons pris une chambre avec balcon très sympathique. L'emplacement coupe un peu de la ville Belle expérience
