just doing nothing and loving it
lovely, friendly and professional staff who greeted me. hotel has architecture full of history and the layout is quite spectacular. Room is spacious, with lovely bed and pillows and complimentary bath articles, robe, slippers and coffee/tea service with bottled water as well. The restaurant offers a variety of hot and cold and all is fresh and staff are genuinely helpful and smiling. the beach area is a long lovely walk on silky sand out to a protected swimming area and with an array of loungers and towels provided. Child friendly as well here. Shopping here with a spa as well. you can purchase perfume, suitcases and also artistic scarves and other beautiful hand crafted articles on site. friendly people with secure hotel area where you can feel safe at all times.Room cleanliness is top notch, as well as throughout the entire hotel. Kept clean at all times. shuttle available to shopping. ATM on site and easy access to local shopping via a nice walk to many supermarkets and other eating establishments. local people are helpful and friendly and speak english if you need information.the location of hotel itself is nicely secluded at the same time and the view is spectacular from the higher floors, including the 4th floor. nice balcony to drink your tea and watch sunrise/sunset.Complimentary wifi overall and excellent reception. Thank you all you lovely people for a fantastic stay. shukriyaa bless you for your kindness during my stay.

Service var ikke god fra receptionspersonale, men rengøringsfolk var meget venlige. Mange regler i forhold til gæster, hvilket var irriterende

Perfekt hotel, hvis du vil slappe af i varmen. Super god betjening i hotel og spa. Hotellet ligger ikke godt, hvis du ønsker at se en masse i selve Dubai. Deres transport til og fra hotellet er ringe og kan ikke anbefales - tag en stor taxa i stedet også når I skal til og fra lufthavnen. Alle resturanter på hotellet er super/ perfekte, dog med undtagelse af den indiske som ikke har et særligt stort udvalg + det vi fik serveret var ikke særligt godt. Vh. - Johnny

Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel. Super service, behageligt personale og ingen anmasende salgsstrategier eller 'krav' om drikkepenge. Skøn pool og super strand. Rigtig gode restauranter til en ok pris. Rigtig god morgenmad og dejlig dejlig udsigt fra værelset. Generelt bare et superskønt sted!

Everything was beyond wonderful! Beautiful wide open private beach and a perfect pool. Only thing that was a little inconvenient and an eye sore was the ongoing major construction by the beach/pool area, however I should point out that both the pool and beach were still completely accessible and open for use! I would definitely stay again when visiting the Dubai area. We traveled from Chicago, USA.

This was a nice stay, regardless of the ongoing construction work onsite. The staff did its best to accommodate for all our needs, the room cleanliness was top notch. Special thanks to Kishi at the reception, Sonam, Vinesheree, Anastasiya, Amina at Naseem restaurant, Supun at Zanzi Bar, and Rabiul and Sujan for keeping our room neat and clean. Hope to come back to appreciate the new site and amenities!

The beach area of the hotel is fantastic! I also really enjoyed shisha and dinner at Zanzibar and bowling located in the hotel. The lobby is beautiful— marble, lavish, traditional design. Welcome drink was nice. All the staff, from the doorman, porter, bellhop, check in staff (Jayzel), housekeeping, restaurants staff, including breakfast buffet, and pool/beach staff were professional, kind, always ready to help and accommodating. Had a superb stay. Would have loved to stay longer!

The 9 night stay was very pleasing overall, from check in to check out. The hotel is managing to keep up to the high mark set by the previous owner chain, or even going beyond that. The room and whole property cleanliness are impeccable, the bedding silky and comfortable, the meals most satisfying. The staff is welcoming and immediately responding to any and all requests. I even received an unexpected birthday cake on my birthday, which was so nice and yummy. Would be happy to come again and again!

I had stayed at ajman hotel in the past when it was part of kempinski group. I was pleased the hotel was more or less still the same in terms of service and comfort. Sure there are many newer/plusher hotels available in the UAE and some aspects of hotel are a little tired but in terms of relaxation , convenience for DBX and one of the best private beaches it still ticks the boxes for me.

The hotel boasts of its facilities, and private beach, pool area always full, so guests heading to the beach, which is beautiful, are not catered for, There is an app to use for ordering drinks while on the beach, but doesn`t always work, The hotel now caters for all inclusive, guests drunk and getting more than friendly on the beach, If we wanted to see any of this we could have had a holiday for half the price in Europe, We even had water pouring through the ceiling at 3:30am from the air condition until, no apology or anything, we have been using this hotel for the past 15 years, looking elsewhere now, feel really sorry for the hard working staff

Relaxing days during XMas and New Year
We spent 13 nights in this Hotel. Beach is beautiful! Excellent service. Food was great and wide range of delicisous menus. Bathroom would need renovation. In the evening sometimes no water in shouher. I handed over postcards at reception desk, but until now non of them arrived! I assume they have never been sent.

Hotel is at premium location, wide outdoor areas; cleanliness & quietness due to being during weekdays; staff was helpful though slow in actions, they accepted to extend late checkout for the same reason of weekdays. Recommended.

Old & Not Worth The Money
The stay was good overall but only because I enjoyed my friends’ company. The hotel is old and not well maintained. It’s sad because with just a little bit of maintenance, it can be a great hotel with a homey, vintage feel. The beach tanning beds are old and rusty and reek of ants and other insects. For food and beverage, the quality is mediocre. My friends and I had lunch by the pool and breakfast at the buffet. The food was not clean nor was it tasteful. The hotel has to work on maintenance, proper F&B across all their restaurants, and cleanliness of the beach.

Birthday Trip.
I visited this hotel again after 13 years, when it was still known as Kempinski Hotel. The check -in was smooth, with welcoming and friendly staff. My room, deluxe sea view, was a dream. As requested I got the room in the corner away from the noise. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. beautiful view of sea and pool. Had dinner at the Indian restaurant with fantastic staff and tasty food. The beach is clean and a real gem. A definitely visit again and won't wait so long again.

Getaway
Its safety rules were well observed for pandemic sutuation. The facilities are still current. The room services staff were all attentive for all requests. But they had weak wifi.

Amazing experience
We stayed with friends only for one night, but it was very nice experience. All our rooms was upgraded. Stuff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who want to enjoy their time.
