Bedroom 3: Ground floor twin room, air-conditioned. Looks directly out onto the neighbouring vineyard. Next to a bathroom with an adjoining door, this bathroom is shared with bedroom 2 (above). Facilities include a bath, a separate walk-in shower wet room, twin sinks and WC, suitable for a wheelchair.

Bedroom 4: Ground floor double 160x200cm, large room, air-conditioned, double aspect views, double doors opening out to the rear terrace. Next to a separate WC, near to the second ground floor shower room with twin sinks and WC.

A widescreen TV with Orange French streaming TV in addition to some English language stations. You are also able to stream Netflix and other platforms from this box, using your own login/subscription.

The pool is protected by an alarm. Stunning far-reaching views over the meadow and the valley below. The pool is open from the beginning of April - until the beginning of November 2023.

Wheelchair users and guests that are not so mobile useful information:
Babeau is a very old farmhouse and whilst it has not specifically been adapted for wheelchair access, there are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, along with 2 shower rooms and a total of 3 WCs. The main shower room has been renovated with wheelchair access in mind.
Bedroom 2 is the ideal room for a wheelchair user. The shower room, shared with bedroom 3, has a spacious wet room shower (also a bath with shower attachment) and a WC with plenty of space to one side for a wheelchair, with a folding wall handrail if required. We can offer a complimentary shower chair.

Weekly farmers markets, summer night markets, restaurants, cycle hire, local adventure park and many more activities and places to visit, a small selection of activities is listed below.

Located in the heart of the Bordeaux famous wine region where there are plenty of vineyards for tastings and tours. There are many picturesque towns in the region, the nearest are Saint Foy La Grande, Saint Emilion, Duras and Monsegur with restaurants, cafes, shops and the beautiful historical countryside for you to explore.

Coast, Beach and Water park: A freshwater lake with a sandy beach at Blasimon is just 22km away and is a popular attraction to take children for a day out. The gently shelving sand provides a safe, fun environment for splashing around and cooling off in the heat of the summer sun. Blasimon lake.

Aqua Park is 42km located near Bergerac. Beach, canoeing and a water park.

Aqua fun Park Near Casteljaloux freshwater lake, 56km. Park with a huge lake, picnic benches, walks, facilities, sandy beach, water sports and children's play area. It's great for adults and children.

The famous sandy bay at Arcachon (146km) with Europe's tallest sand dune, Dune du Pilat. This is the start of a 150-mile long sandy beach south past Biscarosse, or while the day away meander your way around Arcachon and enjoy a relaxing lunch in one of the many French restaurants.

The refundable security bond: 500 GBP is payable with the balance which is returned within 7 days of departure subject to a satisfactory inspection.
An extra security deposit of 250 GBP for pets is taken in addition to the standard security deposit.

Included in the price: Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided. A complimentary supply of bed linen and bath towels will be provided for stays of 2 weeks or more. End-of-stay clean is included in the price, although the house should be left in reasonable condition on departure, any excessive cleaning will be charged.

Additional charges: Additional cleaning is available on request, payable directly to the house manager.

Dog friendly: A maximum of 2 dogs are considered on request at a charge of 62 GBP each per booking, plus an additional security bond of 250 GBP.

This is private property just for you, all facilities including the pool are for your personal private use.

The pool is open from the beginning of April - until the beginning of November 2023.
