I thought the beds were superb. I slept very well. I also liked the rain shower head. It was lovely, as well as the toiletries provided. They were a good quality, compared to similar hotels we have stayed at in the past.
Unfortunately, although I had made my my reservation almost two weeks in advance, upon arrival, when we checked in and went to our room, we found that instead of two Queen beds, we had one King bed and a sofa sleeper. That was unacceptable. After we went back down to the lobby, we were informed that there was no room available with two Queen beds and that the sofa bed was very comfortable. I was not happy and insisted that was what I had paid for and that was what I expected. after searching the computer, she found a room with our requirements. I had been short with her and when we came back down later, I did apologize to her but, I must say, I was not happy with the situation. Then, when we went to check out at 5:30 AM on the final day of our trip....there was no power and I had to walk down 6 flights of stairs. I am a 79 year old woman with significant health issues, so going down six flights of stairs was extremely difficult to say the least. Right before the last flight of stairs, the power came back on. When we went to check out, the manager was at the desk and said she would check us out when the computer came back up and that she was waiving the $45.00 parking fee. I will wait to see if that actually happens.
