Face washers were included. A small matter but many places don’t. Contactless check in and out was convenient and the location was within easy reach of local facilities.

The Farmers Arms Hotel accommodation was ok. The room was smaller than the pictures. And out look from the room as it was behind the cottage. The bed was comfortable and the heater was on when we arrived. No cups or spoons for tea and coffee.

Lovely Intimate Studio
We had a lovely stay, very clean. Very well appointed studio, and extra touches - like inscribed wine glasses, coffee machine and cheese board with knives. Comfortable bed, and plenty of space to sit and relax. Staff were fantastic, extremely approachable. Also a great location.

Not sure exactly how this is classed as a 4.5 star accommodation on Wotif? It’s basically a freshly painted glorified roadside motel. Comfortable for a sleep if you aren’t expecting anything special. Calling yourself a Hotel though is just plain lying. It’s a 2.5-3 star Motel at best. Disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly using guest feedback to ensure everyone who dines or stays with us has the most comfortable and positive experience possible. I'm very sorry to hear that you did not like the styling of our Suites, as advertised on all of our booking platforms, our motel suites are Art themed, meaning the artwork changes regularly as artist residencies change, or as people buy pieces from the collection. This can mean sometimes we have to do a little bit of reshuffling of the furniture from room to room to ensure the rooms look co-ordinated and put together. However, you can be assured that the rooms are always designed to be of the greatest quality and comfort. We hope you had a good stay in Daylesford overall. Safe Travels!

Convenient for town. Comfortable. Some street noise and the end room does have a bit too much light at night.

The only down side to our visit was the fact that you have to check in at the Farmer's Arms Hotel, whereas the accommodation is across the road. The hotel was full of Saturday evening drinkers and diners and so 'checking in' is a question of catching the eye of one of the staff who knows about the accommodation.

The Property appeared to be quite new. it was very clean and tidy. However we felt it was poorly furnished as it lacked a table and chair to sit at. The minny bar was free however the offing was quite small and not restocked after our first night. The room was more of an old style motel not a hotel. Big picture I did not think it was value for money.

We chose this place based on being able to dine at the Farmers Arms hotel opposite. (It’s a good meal normally). I know everyone is still recovering from CoVid BUT the pub is now closed 2 days per week - when we were there - so we were a long way from town without a reason to be out there. WiFi didn’t work either but there was no-one to speak to about it. Anyway the moral of the story is to check that the pub is open before booking the accommodation across the road. Hope they can soon get back to the 7 days a week status they advertise. Best wishes.

Neat motel style room but the location is ordinary with the Boral concrete plant a few metres from the room to the south and alarge hardware store overlooking the Western side

Our room was very clean and very comfortable. We loved our meals in the restaurant. I would definitely stay at the Farmers Arms again.

Good place to stay for a visit to Daylesford.
Check in was behind schedule, but apartments are modern and clean. Bed comfortable.

Great country pub with stylish accommodation
Modern roomy motel rooms with an excellent spacious en-suite with rainwater shower head. Check in at the hotel opposite was seamless with a nice welcome arrival kit complete with key, pen, paper and local tourism brochures. The mini bar is well stocked and complimentary. Whilst on the main road the rooms are well sound proofed with black out curtains. Dinner at the hotel is a must, it has a great country pub atmosphere, with great food. The best eye fillet steak I have had in a pub / restaurant in quite a while. Will be returning.

The Motel was in a good location and the pub across the road is beautiful. The room was underwhelming and lacked the touches of an executive suite. There was no bathrobes, toiletries weren’t replenished and only 1 towel per person. The layout of the room was poorly designed. The bar fridge was on a table just put in the corner next to the toilet door. There was no cupboard so our shoes were just on the floor looking messy. The Netflix didn’t work. The cleanliness of the room was poor, there was food under the couch cushions and in the draws of the console table. On the positive side the bed was super comfortable. For the price I wouldn’t go back.

The room was new and spacious, the shower was amazing and there was Netflix. The location was fantastic, just a minutes drive into the heart of Daylesford. Our room was closest to the road and the only downside is that it was surprising loud through the night as the occasional truck went by. I'll definitly be back again, though I might request a room further from the main road.

Too much "stuff" for sale or display on every surface. More user friendly to leave the surfaces for the visitor to place their own belongings. Tricky having to go to the pub across the street to try and find the manager - there is no reception office for this place. I was considering seeing if I could stay one more night, but knew I couldn't contact the manager until after 3pm - and in the morning the pub was closed. So ended up just leaving. It really doesn't work well, to not have access to an actual office and reception. I could see what they were trying to do with the decore - appear up-market an trendy and arty. Sorry - it doesn't work. Tin tables and shelves annoying. All a little silly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. But the bistro in the pub across the room is superb. Thank you.

Room was spacious, modern & clean. Comfortable king size bed & effective, quiet reverse cycle heating/cooling. Curtains kept room dark at night and relatively quiet, so very good for sleep. Location is a little out of the way, but within walking distance to market & main streets - perfect for what we wanted. Very minor downsides, eg toiletries weren't replenished & room wasn't vacuumed daily (for short stays); and pillows weren't ideal BUT the great news is the property manager is very receptive to feedback & is eager to enhance guests' experience. All in all, this is a great property & we highly recommend. Can't wait to return!
