Der var myrer på hotelværelset og gulvet var ikke rengjort. Desværre kom vi midt i et sprunget vandrør, som også betød strømmen var gået på vores hotelværelse. MEN personalet var venlige og forsøgte på bedst mulig vis og give en god oplevelse. Så personalets service var, under omstændighederne, rigtig godt.

Havde brug for overnatning i forbindelse med ferie, hvor vi skulle sejle fra Calais tidligt om morgenen. Vi blev informeret om forventet larm på gaden pga bastilledag, men det generede ikke trods værelse ud mod havnefront. Fin udsigt over havnefront. Hotellet levede op til de krav vi havde denne gang.

Godt familievenligt hotel
Hyggeligt mindre hotel, med rigitg god service. Receptionspersonalet kan engelsk. Vi havde et rent og pænt værelse med en fantastisk udsigt over havnen. Der var 10 min. gang ned til dejlig strand og gode restauranter. Selvom det ligger centralt i forhold til by og havn, og der var en del trafik, virkede det roligt. Absolut anbefalesesværdigt til prisen

Et lækkert hotel med god service. Og med udsigt til havnen fra 5. sal er det svært at være utilfreds.

Conveniently located following a long drive as it’s close to the ports and tunnel, however a very dated interior that desperately requires a refurb. A basic breakfast offering. Overall was over-priced for such a budget hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially late at night on arrival. Parking is on the main road which didn’t feel secure or safe.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. They even offered a closed garage for parking my motorcycle. Calais itself, however, looks like a city in decline. Old, badly maintained buildings and a not very overall safe feeling.

Die Zimmer sind altbacken und heruntergekommen. Wir hatten an der Decke beim 2. Doppelbett schwarzen Schimmel. Der Teppich ist eine Katastrophe. Für 4 Personen gab es nur 2 Handtücher. Man kann aber relativ gut parken und die Betten waren okay. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, für mehr würde ich das Hotel auch nicht empfehlen.

It’s a basic hotel chain but all the staff I came into contact with were friendly knowledgeable (I asked for recommendations on places to eat) kind to my children and generally a really good bunch. Holiday inn have got a great team working there.

Very good. Slight disappointment as wasn't aware parking needed to be booked, so wasn't able to park on-site, and had to park on road.

We travel around the world and stayed in tones of hotels. And I am afraid to say this is probably one of the worst 4* hotels that I have ever come across! More like a 2*! The room (206) is old, dirty and in very poor condition. We booked a non-smoking room and could smell someone had smoked in the room previously. The window could be opened fully as the latch had been broken. And we could see lots of cigarette burning marks on the window sills outside. Carpet was filthy. Furnitures were old. Skirting board was scratched and marked. Bathroom has mould and damp marks between tiles. Some tiles were broken. TV was tiny and blurry. Only one bottle of water in the room when there were two of us. Had to ask for one more at the reception. Breakfast was very average. Had to ask staff for more milk for the cereals as the container was empty and not refilled. Only positive is that the Receptionist Ella was very good.

Restaurant not always open. Nice if they offered a small selection of snacks. Always, welcome, good rooms and beds comfortable Breakfast a good choice of items hot and cold . A good basic hotel in a handy place near the port/town.
