Recent stay
Hotel is very very tired, stains on the carpet and on the walls. Bedside lamp simply hanging by a wire. Television didn’t work at all in the room. Doors looked like they had previously be forced open. Staff were friendly and polite And breakfast really nice Sadly the physical room, hotel and location were just not up to scratch. Wouldn’t stay again

Over priced
We stayed for two nights, hotel is so much smaller than it appears in the photos, it’s not as social as the description suggests, bed was standard double and uncomfortable, food over priced (don’t even get fries with a burger!) overall it didn’t live up to expectations or cost.

The menu at the restaurant can use an improvement. Other than that, spent 3 nights in 2 different rooms. First room stayed 2 nights and no cleaning or towel changing service provided. 3rd night upgraded the room and was happy with it. Restaurant menu very limited. Lounge are quite nice, staff polite, easy parking around. Overall experience 3 out of 5.

Disappointing but bearable
Stayed in many hotels and this was okay for the price point but the initial room wasn’t clean. There was wet chewing gum on the desk top and blood on the headboard. Staff were good about it and moved me but is concerning that nobody noticed this. Good mattress, but hotel has a lot of noticeable paint chips. For its price point, had it not had such flagrant cleanliness flaws, I would 100% stay again.

It was okay, nothing to shout out about. The hotel could definitely have been cleaner. The price of the parking for 12-24 hours is very steep at £16.

I stayed in room 408, my only criticism is that there was a stain by the mirror… I’m a a bit of a clean freak and was a bit dissapointed, the staff were nice and friendly so top marks for that

Great hotel shame the evening meal let it down
Lovely hotels, but i wouldnt use their restaurant for an evening meal again . You've got the choice of beef or chicken wrap, bun, or salad . Didn't include any sides, no chips, just a chicken thigh and sauce in a bun . We paid extra £4 for 1 porion of chips . It looked like they got it from a takeaway and put it on a tray .A single gin and lemonade was £9 . Total bill £54 for 2 chicken burgers, 1 chips 2 gins .

Room 415 - Carpet, chairs all covered in stains. Window doesnt shut properly so you can hear the road all night. Bathroom seals have all gone Overall room was really poor! Lobby area is the only nice bit of the hotel

Paying £190 on a Saturday for a £45 room was bad enough but finding the nets and curtains hanging off the ceiling and unable to close, plus a thumb tack on the floor made the bill harder to swallow. We were directed to a £16 hotel car park when there was free parking outside also wasn't ideal. Sheets were clean though and the shower worked so not all bad!

Lovely hotel foyer .. nice vibe. Rooms very basic ! Carpet like an office carpet , stained. Bed not comfortable. Tiny en-suite Wouldn’t want to stay more than one night. Parking under the hotel is good. Breakfast was ok

When we got there, reception couldnt find my booking, so took a while to get us checked in. They did give us a compliment glass of wine. Only 1 set of robes and slippers in room but again they sorted this straight away. TV didnt work, but as we were only in for 1 night we reported it on checkout. Drinks and food expensive, so take youre own wine as theirs is £30 a bottle for house white. The staff were exceptional and i couldn't fault them.
