This hotel was great for the price. It was a clean standard hotel. Toilet was very low which I found difficult and parking was an issue, hotel parking is small so gets booked fast and Millennium point car park was difficult to find. All the staff were lovely except for one lady at reception. Breakfast is overpriced (£16.50 or £13.50 if you book the night before) so we found it cheaper to go out and have breakfast. Apart from a few minor inconveniences, our experience was good and I would return. Thank you 😊

A bit pricey for a tiny room for a single person . The room isn’t soundproof so the slamming of surrounding rooms was heard in the middle of night which kept me awake

Our city single rooms are approx 123sqFT which does accommodate a ¾ width bed. We believe that our rooms are of a good size and are competitively priced accordingly. It is not often we get feedback regarding this room type being small and I am sorry that the room did not meet your expectation. We are also sorry to hear that you were disrupted by guests in adjoining rooms who were making excessive noise which then disturbed your residential experience. Had you have made us aware of the situation we would have contacted the residents who were causing the disturbance and rectified the situation. We hope to welcome you back soon again. The hotel is part of a conference building on a university campus. Once you get onto the campus the signage is very clear and I had no trouble finding the building. Nice and helpful reception staff. The building is new and the facilities are nice. You have to swipe your keycard to get into your floor and into your room, so I felt safe. Cons: Mattress was thin and old, not very comfortable. The shower door kept sticking, so I was worried I’d get stuck inside. The location was quiet from traffic, but it is on a university campus so drink uni students outside my window woke me up one of the nights. The windows only open a little bit. A fan was supplied, which helped, but it was still warm. An annoyance was the fan in the bathroom, which is motion activated and very sensitive. It kept turning on every time I walked by so I had to close the door, and it turned on and off whenever I moved around in the bathroom. But when I was actually showering and wanted it on, it turned off. Overall a nice hotel, but took off a star for the above.

The staff were really friendly and informative. The facilities were great and it was all very clean. I had a great stay other than the bed was rock hard. I can sleep anywhere but this bed was so uncomfortable I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet to add some softness to it as it started to hurt my body. Everything else was great apart from that

Hotel is in a good location with paid street parking (free on weekends & bank hol) Staff are really friendly and for a small charge they even posted me an item I’d forgotten in the room. Although the pool was out of service during my stay, I’d come here again and would recommend to others.

Liked: staff were wonderful, the hotel was very clean, the areas around the hotel seemed safe, breakfast was great, bed was comfortable. Only negative was poor sound insulation in the room. I was unfortunate to have noisy people in the adjacent room and I could hear them talking throughout the night.

The hotel rooms were perfectly fine. Be aware that you are staying right in the heart of a Uni campus, and it feels a bit like you're staying in a fancy Uni dorm. Parking is tricky if you dont get space on site. Pool is also in a neighbouring Uni building. Restaurant has regular functions, so service was painfully slow during my stay, and little acknowledgement of the wait from waiting staff. Front desk staff are lovely.

I can assure you that we pride ourselves on both the quality of food and service we provide. If for any reason service issues arise we ask that it is reported at the time, which enables us to rectify issues on the spot. We served numerous guests on the same evening and have not received any other adverse comments. If there was a wait on food my expectation would be that the team would communicate this effectively with the guest. We shall investigate the issues raised with the catering team and endeavour to retrain where appropriate.
