Lovely stay in Prenzlauer Berg
We had an amazing time staying in the friendly neighborhood of Prenzlauer ! The apartment is lovely and safe, we would absolutely come back and stay in the neighborhood again! Very close to all bus and tram lines, the owners were very helpful

Outstanding
This was an excellent apartment that was loved and cared for by the owners. We enjoyed everything about it, from the quality furniture to the paintings. The bedroom faced a quiet courtyard so we enjoyed good sleep every night. The kitchen was well stocked and roomy. The water pressure was excellent and the towel warmer was appreciated. My only suggestion to host would be to provide better bed pillows. This could be my personal preference since I like a big fluffy pillow. We loved the neighborhood and access to trams. There is a supermarket close by I’d you like to prepare your own meals. It was a “wunderbar” stay and very reasonably priced. We have stayed in subpar apartments and appreciated the quality of this most recent one. Thank you so much!

Comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood
We really enjoyed our nine days in Prenzlauer Berg during a recent span of gorgeous fall weather in Berlin. Communication with the property manager and caretaker was fast and helpful. The spacious and comfortable apartment is surrounded by a good mix of cafes, restaurants, small shops, grocery stores, and parks (the Volkspark Friedrichshain is a true gem!). Access to other neighborhoods in Berlin on foot or by public transportation is excellent.

Elegant, comfortable apartment in an ideal location
I spent a month in Berlin, partly to get to know the city better, and partly to have some quiet writing time. Achim's apartment was perfect for me. It was comfortable and efficient, furnished with taste and elegance, and very well situated. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet with mostly 4-storey 19th century houses, a lively array of small shops and restaurants on the street, a mere 4 tram stops (or a half-hour walk) from Alexanderplatz. Food markets are a block or two away. Everything was easy, comfortable and straightforward. Achim answered my one or two initial questions promptly and courteously. This is where I will hope to stay on any future visits to Berlin.

Prachtig appartement in een fraaie buurt
de woning heeft vrijwel alles dat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf: snel internet, een goed bed, keuken waarin je kunt koken en klein balkon. De buurt is sowieso fraai, maar ligt bij het park Am Friedrichshein (goed om te rennen bijvoorbeeld) en ligt heel centraal met het OV (snel en frequent met de tram naar Alexanderplatz). We komen zeker terug!

Such a wonderful place
Would definitely return. The neighborhood has everything you need. Its quiet and peaceful. Easy access to transportation to get around the city. The apartment was a lot of space. Kitchen had pretty much everything needed. Communication with property manager was super easy. !0/10

Spring visit to Berlin
The apartment was so lovely. It was spacious and well equipped. Quiet too!On nice days we sat on the balcony. We loved having an elevator! Most days we ate breakfast at La Tazza directly across the street. Great pastries! We will definitely try to come back here!

die Küche war so schlecht gereinigt, dass wir sie während unseres Aufenthalts nicht benutzen wollten: Herd, Schrankoberflächen und Arbeitsflächen schmierig, Wasserkocher stark verkalkt, Besteck und Kochutensilien teilweise mit Essensresten, Pfannenwender angeschimmelt, Waschmaschinen-Waschmittelschublade mit schwarzem Schimmel u.a. Auf Reklamation unfreundliche und unwillige Zusage einer Nachreinigung, die aber nicht durchgeführt wurde. Duschen - nur in der Badewanne möglich - war schwierig, weil die Aufhängung für den Duschkopf defekt war.

I am sorry to hear about the complaint. Due to Corona the apartment had been entirely disinfected and the disinfectant left apparently a slightly greasy film on some surfaces.

First time in Berlin
The apartment was lovely, warm and cosy and had all the comforts of home. Great location in a family neighbourhood and only a few minutes walk to the tram. Would thoroughly recommend.

A Warm and Comfortable Home
The many favorable reviews of this apartment - and neighborhood - are indeed quite accurate. The apartment IS inviting, comfortable, and bright - and truly feels like a home as opposed to a temporary accommodation. In the morning, the cozy kitchen was most conducive to lingering over coffee and planning the day which we did on several mornings never feeling our time doing so wasn't well spent. At night, the living room was warm and inviting and the perfect room for soft music, nice wine, and a recap of the day. Our only regret was that it was too cold to sit out on the balcony overlooking the street. And of course, not only is the apartment perfect but it is located in a great neighborhood populated with many young families going about their daily routines. It was quite pleasant to feel a part of it all if only for a short time. There are also many restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and grocers - all within a short walk from the apartment rendering shopping or dining quite convenient indeed. In sum, we would happily stay in this home again and have no hesitation in recommending it to you.

Delightful and very well-located
This is a wonderful apartment in a charming neighborhood of Berlin with lots of families, coffee shops, bakery and nearby grocery stores. The building is clean and well-maintained with elegant details in the entry hall. The elevator makes being on the top floor an asset. Transportation is nearby and easy to navigate, and the apartment itself is light, airy, clean and well-outfitted. I was in the apartment for 14 days and will hope to stay there again the next time I am in Berlin.

At home in Berlin
We came to Berlin this September for the Ring Cycle at Staatsoper and settled on this flat initially because of its good transport links. However from the moment we stepped off the M4 tram and turned into the tree lined street with its art deco facades, relaxed cafes and interesting restaurants, bookshop, baker and well stocked corner shop we realised we had fallen on our feet. We took the lift to the 4th floor of a well-appointed art deco block and found the delightful flat that was our home for the next 10 days. This art deco flat was lovely with parquet floors, warm rugs and original art work. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom spacious, the bed comfortable and the stair quiet. We started our days with breakfast in the sunshine on the small balcony at the front of the building looking down through the tops of the plane trees and taking in the architectural details of the surrounding buildings. Our hosts were exceptional. They were out of the country at the time but had ensured that the flat had all the comforts we might need with many thoughtful details such as local maps and guide books as well as recommendations for shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. They were also quick and efficient in their response to any difficulties that arose, making clear that their priority was to ensure that our stay was comfortable and hassle free. We found them easy and friendly to communicate with and the fact that they have very good English was an advantage for us too. From this comfortable, secure and elegant base we began our exploration of Berlin. In 10 days we barely scratched the surface, but we will be back.

Spacious rental in pleasant neighborhood
Fourth floor flat with elevator access, plenty of room and nice layout. Very quiet. Located on a tree-lined street in a residential neighborhood with many young families. Surrounded by excellent restaurants within a three block walk - German, Italian, Austrian, Indian, Japanese, Thai and Portuguese among the many cuisines. Public transportation is nearby and convenient. Highly recommended!

Renting an apartment when traveling can't get much better than this one in Prenzlauer Berg
I've been renting apartments while traveling for over 20 years and this apartment in Prenzlauer Berg is one of my favorite ones. I've rented it twice and plan to rent it again in 2019. It's clean, tastefully furnished, and has wonderful big windows that open for enjoying cool breezes and birds singing during spring, summer and early fall visits. The building and street where the apartment is located are very attractive and quiet. The immediate neighborhood and Prenzlauer Berg broadly are popular for families and hipsters who have grown up and had children. It has plenty of green spaces, tree-lined streets, great transportation links and amenities, and an abundance of charming cafes, bars and resturants for enjoying life and experiencing Berlin's melting pot of cultures--Vietnamese, Turkish, Spanish, German. If you are a walker, it's possible to walk from the apartment to the Mitte (center) area and to many of Berlin's famous landmarks.

Review of Berlin Apartment Our stay at the Berlin apartment was a great one!! Both the owner and the manager were a delight to deal with. Their responses to questions were fast and detailed. The booking process, getting the keys and entry information worked perfectly. It really is like having your own place in Berlin. The apartment was very spacious for European standards. The kitchen was large as is the living room. The balcony is like most European balconies, narrow, yet perfectly useable. The thing I liked was that the sun was not hitting the apartment until late afternoon, so we were able to utilize the balcony a lot more than if it faced east or south. There was no shower, but you could easily stand up and use the shower head to wash. I also liked how you could open and close windows on both sides of the apartment and get an excellent cross breeze going. The place was also extremely clean when we arrived, which I appreciated. It could use some more towels and dishes, but with a washer and a dishwasher underneath the kitchen counter, it never was a real issue for us. Lots of great art books and paintings around the place. It was in a good neighbourhood, about an 18 min walk to Alexander Platz and the centre of Museum Island. Or you can take the tram at the end of the block to the Platz in about 12 mins. The S Bahn station is a ten minute walk from the apartment and we found that the best way of zipping around. The circle lines, S41 and S42 get you anywhere quick if your not going to the centre, and then a tram or subway gets you the rest of the way. There is a large grocery store a block away, great coffee shops and restaurants right out the front door. A huge park is at the end of the street which we enjoyed for promenading in the evenings. Berlin is an extremely livable city, as is the apartment. Cosy, comfortable and a real treat.

Berlin apartment
We have recently stayed for six days in this Berlin apartment. It is located very well with regard to getting into Berlin. We walked (about 25 min) but the tram is at the end of the street and very regular and quick. There are parks in abundance within walking distance. Cafes and shops line the street, it is a lovely street scape and there are lots and lots of families which gives it a great atmosphere. The apartment is a great space for a single person or a couple. It is spacious and light and easy to open windows for airflow. It has a well fitted out kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. It has a good sized bathroom with a shower over the bath. It is very well presented and has original artwork throughout. There are some wonderful art books and a great DVD selection. The owner was very helpful and attentive when needed. The building is secure and spotless. It worked well for us.

Beautiful, central & calm apartment!
The apartment is in a secure building, very well located in an interesting area about 15 minutes by tram or bus from Alexanderplatz which can be regarded as "Tourist Central" in Berlin. Although it is a one-bedroom apartment, it has a great sense of space with good-sized bedroom and kitchen and a huge salon. Written directions provided were reasonably comprehensive, helpful and *witty*. (The owner was away from Berlin and hence we never met him.) The cleanliness of the apt on our arrival was impeccable. Our one complaint was being provided with a single set of keys, but subsequent communication with the owner suggested that this was the result of a previous tenant losing a set, and that two sets are normally provided. We would definitely book again if we were visiting Berlin.

Un appartement clair, bien équipé, dans un bel immeuble bien situé.
Excellente location, non loin du coeur de Berlin et facilement accessible par différents moyens de transports en commun. Ambiance de quartier très dynamique avec beaucoup de restaurants et des commerces variés; un supermarché à 5 minutes à pied. Située près d'un grand parc très animé, surtout le weekend. On profite de la ville tout en étant au coeur d'un village ! A conseiller aussi bien aux citadins inconditionnels qu'aux amateurs de verdure et de tranquilité.

Enjoyable stay in a berlin apartment
The apartment was located in a lovely area of Berlin, close to parks & with excellent transport. The apartment was roomy & light & the kitchen was well equipped. The owner provided information on the area (restaurants, grocery shops etc) & responded to our queries in a very timely manner. If you wish to experience life living in Berlin like a local, we would recommend a stay in the apartment.

Stay here in Prenzlauer Berg!!
This was our first time renting an apartment in Berlin. It can be a bit overwhelming trying to determine which area to focus your search. This apartment is located on a lovely street in the Prenzlauer Berg district. Of all the areas that we explored in Berlin this was our favourite. The street is tree lined and the sidewalk are large enough to accommodate tables from the many cafes. We had many enjoyable meals all within a very short walk. The apartment itself is great; the listing's pictures and description aptly describe the space. The kitchen is well appointed and the unit is very quiet. There are lots of books, music cd’s and dvd’s and superb art throughout the apartment and you feel as if you visited a charming city apartment of a well-off friend. Although we did not meet face-to-face the owner was very communicative and everything went smoothly. We will come back!
