I booked a 1 queen bed and got 2 twin or full beds. No one was there to talk to. There wasnt any extra toilet paper in the room just 1/4 of a roll. The coffe pot wasnt cleaned in i don't know how long and the non dairy creamer packs were as hard as a rock, so probably very old. The room was extremely small and not the room i had booked. Kind of annoyed but the beds were comfortable.

All of our rooms have one queen and one double bed. Two beds in the room. So you definitely got a queen bed. We don’t have twin beds. As far as the creamers go, that’s the way they are shipped to us. They are not old. If you needed anything, all you had to do was call. We do answer the phone from 9am to -9pm and then there is an emergency number to call after hours. I’m glad the beds were comfortable for you however.

Nice no frills little place near beach
The location is really good it’s very close to the beach and walking distance to some things on Long Beach bl. It was our first time there and we were happy the place was clean very updated room and bathroom tiny though. Wasn’t given a bath rug for coming out of the shower so had to use one of the bath towels. Paid for beach passes at the desk. Pool was basic nothing special but for a motel it was ok. The rooms were good but very small and for the price I know it’s high season but I paid like $400 per night I feel like that is too much. You pay for the location. Definitely no frills but I appreciate the clean and comfortable beds.

I'm glad you found the room clean and comfortable. The rate is high because it cost a lot to run a motel especially because minimum wage has gone up and so has the cost of toiletries, linens and insurance.

Fourth of July stay
Our stay was great. Great location to food, beach and activities. The room was updated and clean. They have a pool onsite that was we used for happy hour. The office staff was accommodating when we requested more towels or supplies. We will stay here again.

The Sea Horse was a great option for a last minute weekend in LBI! Marie at the front desk was awesome! We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay! Room was clean and spacious. Staff were very nice and eager to help, had an issue with the rooms AC unit and they fixed it super quick! Happy we found this spot, it was close to the beach and was in walking distance to a few dining options.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Checking in and out was easy. None of the windows in the room could be opened. They were literally sealed shut so the nice ocean breeze couldn't be enjoyed in the room. One of the reasons we booked a room at this hotel was the pool. Unfortunately the water was filthy. There were actually ducks swimming in it and gross stuff floating in it.

The motel is on an island. There are ducks and other wildlife here. Yes, they fly in the pool once in a while in the beginning of Spring. We do try to deter them however, we can't stand by the pool every five minutes waiting for ducks that may or may not come. As far as the water being filthy that's really an exaggeration. The pool gets inspected by the state every week. The chemicals in the pool are perfect and tested every three hours which is a requirement of the state. If there was stuff floating on the top all you had to do was get the skimmer and clean it or go to the office and tell our staff and we would have gladly skimmed it. As far as the windows, yes we do like them to be closed because one, people like to open the windows and smoke from inside the rooms and second, people like to leave the windows open with the AC on and that is very costly. However, I'm glad you enjoyed your clean room and friendly staff.

11 check out was convenient and the pool is open to use even after check out so we hung out for a little while and enjoyed. Beds were comfortable and AC was easy to adjust.

When we got into our room it was Not cleaned- bed unmade, dirty towels and awful smell. I went to the desk & the women came to the room & was very upset & immediately upgraded our room. Much better & we were tight for time heading to a wedding

Sorry about the mishap. The maid did not get to that room to clean it yet. You did however get a one bedroom apartment with a living room, dining room, and full kitchen. I'm glad we could have rectified the situation for you.

The Sea Horse Motel in the off season was a good selection for me. It was close to the event I was attending. The room was pretty clean and compact, like living in a tiny house. I would use this place again if I needed to.

The room was perfect for one person which is what I wanted. Airconditioning worked well. The second night the weather was cool so I opened the windows for fresh cool air. You could tell the room had been remodelled recently and the decor fit a shore property. The rustic hardware touches in the bathroom added a charm to the room. Felt perfectly safe wallking the area.

Originally put in a room that was leaking. They quickly changed us to a new room. But the day of check out they were “spraying the parking lot” and needed us to move our car and rushed us out. It was frustrating. But still clean and a nice set up. Definitely served it’s purpose.

We had a leak in our bathroom dripping from the ceiling. We informed the staff who quickly attempted to stop the leak. Their efforts worked for a little while but the leak later continued. We could not stay in the room and the staff ended up being rude and unwilling to work with us on a partial refund. It was an unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this place, especially at it's current price.

We did resolve your issue and fixed the plumbing problem which was a minor incident. You already decided that you were going to stay with your parents at another location and were looking for a reason to get a refund. We have a no refund policy that you were well aware of. Thank you

Very clean. Small but acceptable rooms. Unfortunately our A/C didn't work so we ended up leaving everything in one room and sleeping in another. The staff is helpful and pleasant.

Really nice staff, from the owners/front desk receptionists to the maintenance man and young college kids who cleaned the rooms. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was clean and convenient. We would love to return next year.

Ok in general but not for the money...
While we would have preferred to stay in a house, this was a last minute trip, so this is what we got. Even though it is right on Long Beach Blvd, the pool was awesome...clean and well appointed, with great music playing. The room was tiny...could barely get around the beds to get into the bathroom. The beds were memory foam and birth the beds and the pillows were extremely comfortable. When it was low tide on the bay, you could smell it though the air conditioner. The filter in the AC needed to be changed. Here is my biggest problem...the had HS kids cleaning the rooms because they couldn’t get their regular workers from outside the country due to the virus. HS kids can’t clean. This is especially concerning now. I had to have them come back each day and redo. Also, none of the staff was wearing masks while moving about the property and cleaning the rooms. There was also no guidelines in terms of how many people could be in the pool area or any suggestion of distancing while at the pool.

We have never had workers from outside the US. Not sure where you got that idea from. And the high school cleaning staff You speak of work really hard and do a great job. I’m actually very proud of them. Sorry their work wasn’t good enough for you. But they are only supposed to make beds, take out the garbage, give fresh laundry, vacuum and dust a little. They aren’t supposed to clean up after people who are disrespectful and leave behind filthy messes.
