BaxCab Rock!
This was amazing! The home theater was excellent, the garage game room was a nice touch. This property allow for my group to have a nice place to relax after we were done for the day. My group and I can’t wait to come back. The property manager was amazing to deal with.

Weekend getaway
We stayed with friends while we were in town for our kid’s activities. The house was a perfect set up for the kids to play and have fun, and the grownups had just as much fun. The house was spacious comfortable and cute.

Spacious beautiful house with all the amenities
Very beautiful property that had everything we needed and great location. Movie room and garage filled with games was a plus! The only thing missing was the unavailability of the fireplace that was listed. Would have been great in the evenings. But what a wonderful place with room for the whole family.

Girls weekend
We had a great time, getting together with girlfriends. The place was very spacious and very clean! All the amenities you could want on a girls weekend. Very attentive caretakers. They even purchased a can opener for us the night we checked in and brought it over!

In need of an update. Several items in disrepair. Property manager was contacted and told of issues. House smelled of stale smoke. Housekeeping could do a better job. Dusty ceiling fans, dirty windows, dirty baseboards etc There was nice community space, beds comfy and good hot water.

Nice place, worked well for our group
For the price we paid, this place was a great deal. It had a nice big kitchen, the extra space in the garage was great for watching football and having a couple drinks. The theater room wasn't super useful for us, felt like it could use speakers (sound only came out of the projector), the firepit/lake was a LONG walk (their yard is huge), and we would have loved some kind of TV in the main space in the house as we congregated there a lot. Overall though it worked nice for our group and for the price we paid it was a great deal! Thanks for having a nice spot for our golf trip.

Family vacation cabin
Great location, open concept kitchen with 2 1/2 bathrooms snd 5 nice size bedrooms. We really enjoyed the area. Close to shopping, hop up to Nisswa, Cross Lake or Crosby. Our 12 year old had a blast fishing for sunniest off the dock. Great Lake to kayak, lots of birds and an eagle nest right around the bay!

Summer vacation
Wonderful 4 days of vacation!! Not to mention how awesome the host is. My husband left his Apple Watch at the house and the host is sending it to our house!!! Would highly recommend this rental!!

Everything We Hoped For
Our family (sons, daughter in laws, tiny kids, aunt and uncle) loved the whole experience. BaxCab is just as pretty in real life as in the pics. We found it very commodious. No problem fitting in seven adults and four little kids. The kids loved the theater and the grownups spent long lovely evenings on the deck, talking, sipping and drinking in the view! Mike made us feel welcomed and cared for - so we all really did end up relaxed and rested!

4th of July stay
Mike was amazing, quick to follow-up on all concerns and issues. The beach and swimming area could be so much more with a little attention to weeds, but kids had a great time swimming. We had our own boat, and White Sand Lake was great for tubing, no traffic! The garage was awesome for the kids to hang out, could use a good sweep out but kids didn't care. The house was very comfortable and the movie room in the basement was an added bonus and kept the kids occupied in the evening hours. This is great house for family to hang out in. Fabulous location, close to Brainerd, Nisswa, restaurants etc. We had a great time at the Bax Cab and would highly recommend it.

Wonderful home for a get away
Mike was excellent throughout the process of making sure we checked in alright and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for everyone and for storage. If you are downstairs, you can hear everyone walking upstairs and it’s pretty loud. Otherwise everything else was excellent

Great house in a great location
This house was a great property but there are some things to consider. Plusses -Mike Fish is the nicest, most responsible property manager I've ever worked with. He was fantastic and you'll be in excellent hands. -The location is excellent. It's close to Costco, Target, Cub's and some great lakes. -The house is spacious and very clean. -The garage has a huge game room with ping pong, foozball and a TV. We didn't spend a ton of time there but it was fun. There's also a theater room and we did watch a movie together and that was cool. -The astronaut bedroom has four bunk beds that are awesome for little kids to share. Things to think about -The master bathroom is not a full bathroom. It's not a big deal but it's something to know -The lake has a ton of leafy plants when you wade in. So you have to swim through those before you make it out to actual swimming. Again, something to know and bring water shoes -There's no pontoon. One of the pictures shows it but the owners don't have that boat anymore. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed our time there very much.

Wonderful lake home stay
The lake home is wonderful. Very modern with great amenities including all the kitchen items you need for a large group. Ample size bedrooms and bathrooms, along with plenty of linens. TV room is great, along with popcorn machine. Outside there is plenty to do and a nice fire pit area near the lake. Quiet and relaxing place, would definitely stay again!

Relaxing quiet lake
Location is superb. The house is clean but a little dated e.g. deck needs power washed and stained, patio furniture is old, beach chairs need cleaned. Pictures are highly accurate. Lake was very calm for us (late July/early August) at most 5-7 boats on the lake on the busiest day. Great for paddle boarding and fishing. Games room in the garage is a good space and provides a lot more square footage. Equipped with bags, TV, table tennis. One let down was the landscaping company came on our last night which ruined our planned fire pit evening as they were there cleaning the beach for 2 hours. Was a sour end. Property manager was very quick to respond. Easy access to get in.

Paul, I appreciate you staying with us and the feedback. The spiders have been a bit relentless this year, but we do pressure wash regularly. It is on the owners list to stain the deck. I am soo sorry for outside services showing up when you were there trying to use the beach. They are third party and that is the 1st time that has ever happened. I will make sure it does not happen again. All guests have my personal cell phone and are encourage to call or text 24/7 with any kind of issues...really sorry that happened.

Great stay
Had a great week here. House was spacious enough for our family group of 13. Movie room was a hit along with the game room in the attached garage. Beach was sandy in the shallow area which was nice for the little kids but was very weedy further out so wasn’t great for swimming. Good fishing for the kids around the dock and the adults out on the boat. Property manager was responsive and overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The only thing I would say if you have a place for family use it should be disability accessible As I am in a wheelchair it would have been Better to have an entrance ground level and bigger bathrooms.

Helen, I appreciate the feedback. I wish every property we manage was fully disability accessible. However, these are individual homes and that is not so. In fact, I think there is a huge need for that in the VRBO industry and have personally encouraged investors to consider building and developing fully accessible VRBO properties. In this case, we communicated with you when you booked and even measured out the doors etc. and gave you that information months in advance. I am very sorry the home did not work better for you.

This property has a nice lakeshore location convenient to shopping needs (Costco, Cub Foods, etc) The house is well equipped and extra fun with theater space in basement and garage game room. We brought kayaks, jetskis and fishing boat. Lake is big enough and quiet. Manager Mike is super, available and responsive!

Great Winter Retreat!!
The place is really nice, great location to Baxter/Brainerd, and with 5 bedrooms we had plenty of space for 11 adults. The living room kitchen area was great for cooking/eating/socializing. And also enjoyed the theater room and heated garage had TVs with a ping pong table. Awesome place!

Perfect Getaway for Couples Weekend
Pros: Property was clean and communication with the property manager was good! Plenty of space for 10 adults. Cons: Technically, the kitchen has everything you need but I would suggest adding a larger fry pan. The pans are smaller in size so when you cook for a larger group it becomes difficult.

Great Cabin!
This property is excellent. We came to Brainerd with 7 adults and the home was perfect for our purposes, with 2.5 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms, including a full bath in the basement. The large common room and kitchen gave us lots of room for socializing. The home is nicely decorated and updated. It's close to Brainerd and all of the major stores. We'll be trying to reserve this property on our next visit to Brainerd. Hosts were great and communication clear and prompt. Thanks for the great stay!

Very nice accommodations to utilize during a sporting event that was hosted at Brainerd high school. Location was ideal, about a 10-15 minute drive from the Brainerd high school . Nice and clean unit. Management was very helpful and friendly to work with.

Perfect for family getaway
This was a perfect weekend getaway for our family. With lots of space and yard. We had an absolutely wonderful time and loved the theater room! Only downside is fireplace not usable due to insurance/liability. Not a big deal during the summer, we were just looking to get cozy during the fall, but the bonfire pit was great with plenty of chairs! Overall would definitely recommend and Mike was really phenomenal at communicating and being available to answer all our questions!

Beautiful property
I love the open concept of the home, the big flat yard that stretched to the lake which provided for lots of outdoor activities and the bonfire that sits next to the private beach overlooking the lake. The indoor theatre was really nice and easy to operate. We did ran into some hiccups with the pontoon, grill and kitchen sink but the host was very responsive and handled everything very well. I actually felt really bad having to make multiple phone calls to the host. We had families dropped in to spend the day with us and had an awesome time on the lake. It was a great way to end the summer for all of us. We will definitely go back!

Surprisingly Accurate
Overall we were pleased with the spaciousness, cleanliness, well-stocked toiletries. Amenities were as described. The beach could use a little more attention. There were a few minor issues that when brought to the owner's attention, were immediately attended to and resolved. Being a newer rental, there are a few small things like finishes or garbage cans that can be improved upon, but again, we let the owner know, and he is addressing every issue. It was a great location, we caught fish on the pontoon, low on the bugs, quiet neighborhood. We would come back again. Very Family Friendly.
