Vi havde værelset nummer 515 Brusen var usikker og vandet løb ud over til wc’et døren på badeværelset kunne ikke lukke særligt godt pga vand som var kommet til dørkarm Der var tissmands hår i sengen på laget første dag vi kom

Utrolig serviceminded personale. Meget pænt og renligt. Pool område en anelse for småt og for tæt på gæsterne i barområdet, men alt i alt et dejligt hotel tæt på by, strand, shopping og skønne madsteder.

Fantastisk beliggenhed og god standart.
Generelt fint hotel med forrygende beliggenhed. Morgenmaden var god og der blev ofte fyldt op med frisk mad og drikke. Sengen var god med udvalg af puder til enhver smag. fin lille smal balkon, så vi kunne nyde pladsen foran katedralen fra første parket.

Meget mørkt værelse og der var myrer på værelset, inkl. i sengen :-( Klagede over det, og det blev lidt bedre men de forsvandt ikke - Ingen kompensation. Mærkbar kloaklugt i rummer, lyskontakter der ikke virkede, løse amaturer på badeværelset - ikke 4 stjerne værdigt. Super beligenhed og fed tagterasse.

Hotel med høj service og god beliggenhed
Hotellet har en virkelig god beliggenhed. Der var super god service, god rengøring og meget lækker morgenmad. Vi troede at der var pool på toppen, men det var kun et soppe Bassin. Til gengæld er der en dejlig tagterrasse med servering.

Good location
Sørg for at få værelse mod gaden/catedralen. Isoleret set er værelset pænt, men der er dårligere udluftning og "udsigt" til en meget tæt gård, gav en kedelig lugt og vi måtte bytte værelse. Hotellet ligger dog skønt, og hotellet er som udgangspunkt godt, bare vær opmærksom på værelsets beliggenhed.

We had a group of 4 women traveling in Barcelona. We occupied 2 bedrooms. The hotel is perfect. It is located in the plaza surrounding the Barcelona Cathedral. It is beautiful with old world charm and a delightful staff to match. The rooms are clean , with beautiful linens. A full breakfast buffet is available in the morning until 11AM and it’s a perfect way to start the day. They also have a beautiful bar, with outdoor and indoor dining service. It is in the Gothic area and is a perfect location, for walking and touring. I cannot wait to go back. I fell in love with Barcelona and this hotel

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They assisted ( on request) with dinner recommendations, local things to do, and made sure a taxi was ready for us at 4AM because we had an early flight and did not want to waste time on flagging down a taxi. 10/10 would stay again

The pictures of the room felt a little misleading(very small room) Granted, I think we got the last room available. Also, there was loud music coming from somewhere. As we stayed on the first floor I got the sense it was coming from a work area. The staff was fantastic though. Everyone very accommodating and nice!

The junior suite is very luxurious! However it could be more decorative and is pretty empty. Elevator is too small and too slow. Overall excellent customer service. Raquelle was very nice. The roof top can get little busy at night. So if you plan to go there it’s recommended to go on daytime. However when we went there, it was closed for maintenance. That might be unlucky on our part. Overall it is great! We’ll stay here again.

Over all we had a great stay at hotel. Only true downside (which isn’t hotels felt) is noise from street was loud, we had been traveling so we were pretty exhausted and the street noise kept us up, tell wee hours of the night. We paid for the breakfast buffet, I would return just for that it was fantastic. One waitstaff member seemed bothered over guests but every other staff member throughout the hotel was helpful and kind. Maybe she was just having an off week. Staff was very accommodating to holding our luggage before and after check out. We had a wonderful stay and hope to stay again.

Our experience at Hotel Colon was not what we were hoping for, it was very disappointing. On the plus side the Hotel was clean, with a beautifully decorated lobby, nice breakfast and dining room and great views of the Gothic Cathedral. We were in the family penthouse suite, which had an amazing terrace.It was late March and pretty cool outside, but still lovely. The room itself was much smaller than we anticipated. The closet space was completely insufficient. There were only 3 of us, but the pull out was a double so there could have been 4. There was no dresser and only night stand tables, so no drawers. The closet was completely insufficient for a family considering it was the only storage. I've had bigger closets in Paris in a double occupancy room. The pull out was another problem. It set up as pulled out all the time and could not be put back to a couch . We asked the hotel to do so and they said it could not be done without great effort, so they were not going to pull it out each day we just had to live with it in bed mode. The bathroom was also very disappointing as there was a frosted class door on the toilet and shower, but no other door. This makes no sense in a suite for families and photos online were deceptive and did not reveal this or I would not have booked it. Loved the location! We had the cathedral view and it was worth it. It could get a bit noisy at night but when we closed the doors to the balcony it was quiet. The room did get warm at night so we often left the doors open, and got to hear all the fun going on down in the square. The Gothic Quarter was the best. I am so happy we chose to stay at this hotel.

Didn't like that you have to buy coffee and water in room. Add the cost but don't ask for it. Not good at all.

This is in the heart of the Gotic area, everything is walkable from here, there are train and bus stations that are close by if you want to go around the city. There are so many places to explore just in the Gotic area alone and it's also filled with great restaurants.

Probably the best location in Barcelona, this is a fabulous hotel, if possible reserve a room with a view of the Cathedral, it is something special. A must is the rooftop bar for a glass of bubbles. The hotel itself was immaculate, we stayed for 3 days. The staff are very attentive and eager to help, super friendly. We couldn't recommend Hotel Colon too highly!
