Okay good rates and good reviews made us book the President Hotel. Booked a room with city-view. Requested high floor and quiet room. Got 218 and 222 on the second floor with no view and still rather noisy. Rooms were “newly” renovated, door to bathroom could not close and furniture were already worn. Disappointing for the kids that the pool was closed during our stay as well. 2 nights - luckily we did not book more. Positive: Breakfast buffet is not lush, but okay.

Roof top swimming pool
The hotel is high tower in the nice area of Athens. We spent a day before the flight next to the swimming pool on top of the building, while it was very hot in Athens. One thing to note, that sun-beds next to the swimming pool are additionall cost, but one can hang out freely on the edge of the swimming pool and use refreshments from the rooftop bar.

Nice place - needs some attention
Nice location, friendly staff, extreme prices in restaurants, good service but it needs some renovation here ans there. Generally we were pretty happy about the stay after some weeks in different 2 star hotels

The hotel looks great and modern compared with many other hotels nearby and rated 4 stars, but overall service is bellow 3 stars. We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights for a whole family and had a late arrival. The front desk was wide open when we arrived, but it took over 15 minutes to complete the check-in process. Then it turned out that the front desk staff gave us a wrong room with one full bed instead of 2 twin beds we had requested. We had to go back to the front dest requesting a different room, the staff was very defensive saying all the requests are not guaranteed according Expedia’s website. Finally, they changed one of our rooms to a different floor that’s very inconvenient for a family. To access to the hotel’s Gym is very inconvenient too. you have to go to the front desk to request, then they will arrange a staff to open the door for you so you can get in. When we asked if we can borrow a key to access the Gym, front desk staff became very unfriendly and defensive. Also beware, the pool is listed in the hotel’s amenities but it’s only seasonal. It didn’t open when we stayed there.

We did not get a chance to truly appreciate the property as much as we liked due to flight delays but this hotel was pretty nice and advance. The staff were friendly and the amenities were amazing. Our only regret is not having enough time to truly appreciate the hotel and what it truly had to offer. Also, the food at the buffet was top tier and was very fresh. The inside of the hotel is very luxurious as well.

The pool is not operational, consider this while booking. My whole experience in greece was awesome, whoever this hotel ruined it a bit. The staff is not courteous, when we complained about the key is not working , the guy in front desk said in anger we must be doing something wrong.

The rooms are very spacious and modern. The refurb work was ongoing on 2nd floor but did not bother us on the 14th floor. There is a 24/7 off license nearby. Bed was comfortable - overall good experience. We will visit here again.

Title: Disappointing Experience at the President Hotel I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the President Hotel, and I must say it was far from satisfactory. The overall cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The rooms were not properly maintained, with visible dirt and dust in various corners. It was evident that cleanliness was not a priority at this establishment. Adding to the disappointment was the incessant noise that plagued my stay. Whether it was loud conversations in the hallways or banging noises from neighboring rooms, it seemed impossible to find a moment of peace and quiet. The lack of soundproofing was a major oversight that significantly affected the quality of my rest. Additionally, the staff's response to these issues was lackluster. Despite bringing up my concerns with the front desk, there was no real effort made to rectify the situation or offer any form of compensation for the inconvenience caused. Considering the subpar cleanliness and the constant noise disturbances, I cannot recommend the President Hotel as a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. It is crucial for the management to address these issues promptly, as they greatly impact the overall guest experience.
