The continental breakfast was good. Location was great. The inn Is a bit worn out. Our room was next to the stairwell so it was really loud. Also the noise from people above was really loud. Rooms were clean but the place just needs a little updating.

OK place to stay in Ashland. Somewhat overpriced for what you get, but very convenient to walk to Downtown Ashland. Beds and pillows are overly firm and housekeeping is spotty. But the place is clean and is a decent option for your stay

We stay at Stratford Inn everytime we visit Ashland. Friendly staff and its an easy walk to everything in downtown Ashland. The shower has great water pressure and our room is always clean.

We didn't expect to be put in a basement level handicapped suite with very little natural light. Small bugs were crawling around. Sofa had hair and dirt. Not a good experience and more than likely won't stay here again.

Rooms are clean and quiet. Property is a short walk from the center of town with great dining and drinking options. Hotel breakfast is a nice bonus. We loved this place and will return.

This is a wonderful place to stay and the staff is excellent. My beef is that it is a pet friendly hotel with an inadequate place for pets to relieve themselves. It’s very small with little grass, and in the middle of the parking lot. 👎

WHAT WE LIKED: Close enough to walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and to the play we wanted to see. The breakfast includes gluten free bread, the best I've ever tried. The dining area is spacious,and relaxed, with a loveable attendant named Cindy. I'm sure you'll be charmed by her sweet nature. NOT LIKED: The mattresses in out 3rd floor room were both less than firm, a bit too soft for my liking and for my back's health.

Overall this is a good place to stay with great proximity to shops and restaurants. Our room was a good size - we had a suite with two rooms and a kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped. Everyone who works there is friendly. That said our room was not very clean. The floor was very sticky and gritty and when we were unfolded the pull out couch we found candy and other random things under it. I think we were just a little unlucky as the hotel overall felt clean.

Our room was a bit dated, but the pool was a hit for the kids and the breakfast was great. We had a number of issues (pancake flat pillows, broken heating unit, extremely loud upstairs neighbors) but staff was really kind and addressed the issues the best they could. They moved us to an upstairs room on our 4th night so we could get some sleep before our 11 hour trek home which was appreciated. I didn't know that Expedia didn't include a $35/night pet fee in our rate so we ended up paying a total of $175/night. That would be alright for a night if we were just passing through, but for an extended stay at that rate I'd just go with an Airbnb so we could get some rest.
