Gode senge. Rimelig pris morgenmad (tilkøb). Kolde toilet og badeforhold. Hyggelige fællesområder. Mini cafe. Tæt på offentlig transport. 15 minutter med tog fra lufthavnen.

Great place to stay if you dont mind small spaces. Amazing experience. Everyone was super friendly, felt safe amd clean. Right next to the train/bus station as well as the flexbus pickup location. 10/10

Staff were really friendly and their best to address our needs. Bathroom, toilet,and common area was clean and it's perfectly located next to the flixbus station.

まずスローテルダイク駅から歩いてすぐというのが安心でした。アムステルダム中央駅も隣なので、アクセスしやすいです。受付の方はとても愛想よく、部屋まで丁寧に案内してくれました。3段ベッドの1番上は座っていると頭がつきそうなくらいです。スーツケースを広げる場所はベッド以外ではなさそうです。落ち着けて、雨露をしのげれば良いという人にはよろしいと思います。私はそのタイプだったので良かったです。

Amazing an convenient experience
Amazing and unique experience. I don't get to sleep in a train hostel every day. It's also really well located since it's next to the train to the airport and city centre, the tram and the metro. There's staff 24 hours so it was safe.

If you book this property through Expedia, they will make you pay twice the booking price as they say that you book only 1 bed (even if you book for 2 people and that the price for 2 people is similar to what is on their website). Do not book through Expedia! It's overall a nice place, but a scam for people who do not book on their own website. They do not let you know about it upon check-in but will most definitely take the money from your bank account!

Yes this is unique but the experience is not desirable. The rooms are small and cluttered with cords and no place to store your belongings, you are not given a room key but are told.to rely on your roomates to have the receptionist lock it when they leave. There is 1 possibly 2 very small toilets on the train car that holds close to over 40 ppl. I was told that the room next to me was being paid for by the government so i assume its either for homeless, rehab or exCon which is fine except I paid more here than the usual hostel. The trains next door run until 1am and start up again at 7am. I woke up the 1st morning with very swollen eyes and bite bumps all over my face. There is 1 outlet with an extension cord per 3 bunks. When I did complain to the owner as I was running out the door he told me I should have gotten out of bed at 1:30am and told him about the fighting in the room next to me. The receptionists are nice and helpful but im sure limited on what can be done. Dont stay here unless its your last choice or you are young and dont care.

Hi Victoria, sorry you did not enjoy your time with us. Since we are a real train, space is limited and the walls are admittedly not as insulated as a traditional structure. And if windows are closed noise from outside stays outside. We do enforce quiet time however from 23hr-7hr to reduce noise in the compartments. If fellow guests are too loud, you can always inform staff who are happy to step in when relevant. By the way the guests next to you paid their stay themselves.

I wanted to say that my trip to Amsterdam Train Lodge hostel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were all very friendly. Sympathetic of my situation I found myself in on arrival, and communications before I left the UK, and after check out. The breakfast was out of this world, very tasty and set me up for the day. They were very knowledeable about from fares for public transport through to where the best attractions were. They couldnt do enough for you. Highly recommended, and if your a train spotter as I am, it was a trainspotters paradise!!

Worst in Amsterdam
This has to be the worst hostel in Amsterdam. The owners are extremely rude and tried to charge me extra. Never ever stay there. Thank me later.

Dear Orvar, you booked for the Saturday but you arrived Friday in the middle of the night. Based on your condition we offered you a bed so you could rest. Actually regarding your condition you needed a hotel with private room and facilities instead. You left Saturday morning for a 3 star hotel. Hope you are well again.

Great Place to Stay

It's right next to the train station ... so conveniently located ... yet it wasn't noisy. And like it's name says, it's a body of a train.

Expérience unique
Expérience géniale et hors du commun. L'accueil est super sympa. Les cabines sont toutes petites mais en même temps c'est normal vu que c'est un train. Les couchettes étant individuelles, c'est peut-être pas conseillé aux couples, mais si vous allez en groupes d'amis c'est parfait. Le seul inconvénient c'est que c'est loin du centre. Sinon je recommande.

The lodge was a great place, it's out of the hustle and close enough by transit to many of the attractions. I had an unfortunate experience of my cell phone stolen from the charger in the room by one of the occupants. The staff kicked in gear to help me with time checks, directions, etc. made me feel a lot better about a situation out of any ones control. They have a sign posted as to cameras for security but as to the day I left they don't have any in place. So it's best to not to loose site of your belonging not even while sleeping. I had great assistance to make the trip great, the place is unique and it's a place for riding solo. Please no nice nasty remarks really can't handle.

Excellent place to stay
The whole experience was great and the staff were very friendly. Only downside is the lack of space in the rooms but otherwise everything was excellent.

Train Lodge close to Sloterdijk station
Train lodge within close walking distance to Sloterdijk station and an hours walk into Amsterdam centre. Hotel staff were lovely and very welcoming and the facilities were perfect with shared showering and toilet facilities.

Ho soggiornato solo una notte. La location a mio parere è molto originale. Essendo un treno adibito ad ostello, le camere-cuccette sono molto piccole e strette, e poco spazio per metterci i bagagli essendo in sei per dormitorio.

Die Teainlodge ist nichts für Liebhaber großer Zimmer: Schlafwagenabteil, enger Gang, Gemeinschaftsbad. Aber wer es ungewöhnlich mag, ein wenig urig, unter netten jungen Leuten, Weltenbummlern und Backpackern - sehr empfehlenswert!

Smallest rooms ever!
Ridiculously small room for 3 people. Even for a single person is too small. I made a mistake booking this hostel for 5 nights. 2 nights max if you wanna to experience fun living in the train. Also overpriced, and it’s definitely not worth €600 for our stay. Staff is every morning and every evening different. The key to your room is not given. We have to ask to lock and unlock our room. it was annoying. No towels included in the price, no breakfast.

珍しい列車ホテル
日本にも列車ホテルはありますが大都市の駅前という立地は珍しく、お手頃な料金で鉄道好きには話のネタにもなると思い選びました。写真通りの3段ベッド×2の6人部屋は、中段が高さがないうえに荷物を置くところもなく不人気で、チェックインした順に下段・上段・中段の順で埋まっていきました。中古車両なので多少古びてはいますが、水周りは改装されていて使い勝手は問題ありません。シャワールームにはトイレと洗面台もあり機能的ですが、1両に1ヶ所のようなので混雑時は待つかもしれません。部屋での飲食は禁止されており、食堂車車両を利用します。カプセルホテル並みの施設と言えなくもないですが、寝台列車旅情を感じたい方にはお勧めです。

Really helpful and friendly staff. Felt really safe travelling alone. Really cool set up with the converted train just a lack of space to settling in as the rooms are so small. One min walk from the station so really easy to get into the center of Amsterdam.

Чисто, спокойно, дружелюбный персонал. Покупал проездной на 48 часов, поэтому добираться не было проблемой. Дают место для хранения продуктов в холодильнике (помогает экономить на еде, делая покупке в сети АН) В купе на 6 коек постоянно было занято 4. Из недостатков - выезд и заселение новых жильцов в одно купе в течении ночи. Поспал с урывками. Запрет на употребление своего алкоголя в отеле и рядом с ним за столиками отеля.

Fantastic hotel for the price & the location was superb! The rooms are small, so with 3 adults and cases etc it is a little bit of a squeeze but for the price it is a fantastic hostel. Room was clean and the bathrooms/toilets were always clean! Reception was manned 24 hours which was lovely and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Good for a night
I stayed at train lodge for 1 night. I had an early flight and wanted to stay somewhere cheap. This was a good place. Close to Sloterdijk trainstation. But it was good for 1 night. I won’t stay longer than that

A good experience
I want to start off with the location of this place; it's perfect! This place is right next to a major public transportation hub. If you're flying in or coming in on a train, it's too easy to get to the hostel. It's definitely not a walking distance to Amsterdam city, but it's a 10 minute train ride or 15-20 minutes tram ride. It's also a great hub to head to other cities in the Nederlands. The hostel itself is pretty good. I stayed in a 6 man room, the bathrooms were easily accesible for me throughout my stay. I would like to say that the spaces are small, but very livable. My biggest complaint about this place is the amount of dust in the rooms. I would readjust my bedsheets and I can see a big dust cloud come up; It's very disturbing. I wouldn't come back here because of the amount of dust. If the dust clears I would come back without thinking twice.

Heti alussa virkailija sanoi ettei huoneissa saa syödä, sillä huoneissa on nähty rottia. Tämä ei tieto ei tehnyt oloani kotoisaksi tai viihtyisäksi ja kuulinkin rapinaa yöllä. Lisäksi sisäänkirjauksen yhteydessä minulta perittiin joku lisävero, vaikka varauksessa hintana luki "loppusumma" joten oletin ettei lisäkustannuksia tule.

I don't know what your problem is. At check in we ask you friendly not bringing food to the compartments. We can store it for you and you can eat it in the reception/bistro car. Further the tax you paid is a City Tax which is explained when you made you booking. Probably you didn't have a nice time giving us a low rate but I doubt it has to do with these items. В общем хороший хостел. Больше всего понравился вагон-рецепция, где находилась общая зона отдыха. Номера стандартные купе, отсутствует места хранения вещей. В душе было достаточно холодно, да и много щелей, рекомендую заняться администрации тепло сбережением. Номера чистые, пастельное чистое. Рядом трамавайная остановка, станция метро, станция жд транспорта и автобусов.

Ein super Erlebnis
Ein sehr besonderes Hostel. Es war wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis in einem alten Schlafwagen zu übernachten. Es ist alles sehr beengt aber das sollte man vorher wissen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Hostel war sehr sauber. Für 1-2nächte optimal.

It was a good stay, bunk bed was comfy enough, stayed with 5 others and made friends with 1 guy. Had no issues with anyone. It can get tight walking down the carriages, but problem when everyone is friendly :)
