The hotel was clean and moder, the staff was very accomodating and friendly. There was a full contimental breakfast. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the parking. The lot in front of the hotel is only for loading and unloading. You have to pay to park in the parking garage or park on the street. For a mobility challenged guest this wasnt the most convenient but we made the best of it and overall our stay was great

My adult children recently stayed at the new Hyatt Hotel, and while the property has potential, our experience left much to be desired. Here's a detailed account of their stay: **Pros:** - **Beautiful Interior:** The hotel is brand new, and the interior design is stunning. From the lobby to the rooms, everything looks modern and well-appointed. **Cons:** - **Unfinished Entrance:** Unfortunately, the front of the hotel is not completed, and guests are required to enter from the back. This area felt unsafe, especially since there was no visible security and we encountered individuals who appeared to be suffering from mental health issues hiding out back there. While I was with my family and felt relatively safe, I would not feel comfortable checking in alone under these circumstances. - **Rude Staff:** The front desk staff member we encountered was rude and completely lacking a positive attitude. This was disappointing, as it set a negative tone for the rest of our stay. Room Issues: The room itself was cool and stylish, but the shower had very little water pressure. Additionally, the glass shower door did not shut properly, causing water to spill all over the bathroom floor and making it difficult to retain heat in the shower area.

The staff was phenomenal. Special shout out to Sammy, our chef and bartender. We were up for a graduation, my husband had just had knee surgery and couldn’t make it. They were able to very graciously give us late checkout so that he didn’t have to sit in the car. Thank you.everyone

Listing said it had restaurant but it was a bar with only choice of burger or sandwiches - 4 items on menu. No onsite parking . Very nice room very clean but zero extras, no room service, no laundry service. We were disappointed as we wanted more.

It is a beautiful property but with issues: 1. Room 409 - Very little sleep. Tapping noise from the ceiling that woke us both up. Sounds like pipe expansion or an HVAC issue. About 2 AM and then stopped after 45 minutes. 2. Room 409 - Beautiful shower door is hung backwards and is out of level. The door slides open while showering and gets the floor wet which can cause you issues with safety in the future. 3. Room 410 - The bathroom door is hung out of level and closes on you when you are using the sink. 4. Staff, architect, cleanliness and breakfast were all great. Thanks for having us, Scott Kelley

First time in Albany, and if I came back I would stay at this hotel again. 10/10 all around, staff was excellent beds were so comfy, shower and water pressure were great and it was so clean.

My daughter had a medical emergency and I called them in advance to tell them I was not going to stay there. They told me I would not be charged. Then I get a charge on my credit card for the room anyways. I called them on 3 separate occasions and it’s always the same excuse of they can’t find the manager and they ask me for my name and number and indicate the manager will call me back. No one has called me back. I called a forth time and left a message on the management voicemail to have them call me back and they still have not called. This is horrible customer service. The other hotel where I was staying when the emergency happed waved all of my room fees with no questions asked. Apparently this hotel just cares about money and not there customers needs. I will never stay here or any other hotels that are associated with them again.

When did you call to cancel? Typically, because you made the reservation through Expedia, you should reach out to Expedia to make any changes. I do apologize. We never want anyone to feel ignored.

Parking is the only downside with this property as they do not have their own dedicated parking lot or spaces. Otherwise clean, friendly, and good stay for the price.

The photo showed a tub but there was none. There are very few parking spaces and parking is expensive. No microwave in the room, so I had to go to the lobby to use the microwave, and it doesn't work well, so after 3 minutes is heating, the soup was still cold. For my room in particular, the sliding shower doors would not start closed no matter what I tried, so the floor got very wet as much as I tried to avoid it.The staff is nice, it's clean, just not the convenience.

Great place to stay if going to a concert. Easy walk to MVP Arena. Nice Irish Pub nearby. Fantastic free buffet breakfast. Quiet and clean rooms.
