Super godt hotel og SPA
Fantastisk service på et rent og smukt hotel. Personalet var toptunet, deres SPA i høj klasse og omgivelserne rolige og harmoniske. Er ret sikker på at vi kommer tilbage:)  Hotellet har en fabelagtig Thairestaurant og er man til bøffer i særklasse, ligger der en steakrestaurant ”BOA Steakhouse” kun 2 min fra hotellet. Kan varmt anbefale hotellet – der dog ligger lidt væk fra city og strand. Men en tur i taxa til city koster kun 30 dirham, og hvis man vil på en fantastisk strand kan det anbefales at tage en taxa til Saadiyat Island – det koster kun 40 dirham.

Lækkert luksushotel
Utrolig venlig og serviceminded personale. Blev sat på en stol med dadler og safranthe ved ankomst, hvorefter en fra personalet sørgede for indchekning.

Mixed bag - needs more staff at breakfast
Good points : unique views , spacious rooms and very good facilities on site. Negative points: cleanliness in breakfast was poor. Not enough staff, lots of tables left dirty and never cleared. Carpets outside our room and corridor dirty and never hoovered over the 3 nights we stayed. Paid for a mangroves room and initially put us on a low floor with very poor view and had to move rooms. Staff didn’t seem surprised when we asked to move, unsure why they did that. Maybe because we booked via hotels.com? A number of staff seemed unhappy, some visibly ill with cough and cold. Our housekeeper for room was coughing and sniffing and then coming to clean our room. F+B on site was over priced.

Es ist ein gutes Hotel mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten. POSITIV: grosse Zimmer, nettes Personal, ruhig an den Mangroven gelegen, grosser Fitnessbereich mit allen wichtigen Geräten, und das beeindruckendste war die Lunchbox, welche ich aufgrund einer frühen Abreise erhalten habe…diese enthielt neben heissem Kaffee, frisch gepresstem Orangensaft auch Brote, Croissants und viel Obst. NEGATIV: die Lage ist nicht für großartige Unternehmungen geeignet…man ist auf das Auto angewiesen; der Pool ist etwas klein; und das Mobiliar ist in die Jahre gekommen (ich vermute 15 Jahre alt).

Leider nicht mehr das was es mal war !
Ich liebte das Hotel seit 2017 wo ich das erste Mal da war. Leider hat sich seitdem viel verändert, wahrscheinlich auch durch die Corona-Krise ! Hatte Zimmer mit Extra-Lounge Zugang gebucht wo ich 2017zwar nicht hatte , aber konnte einen Blick in die Lounge werfen und war damals schon sehr angetan. Nun jetzt, 6 Jahre später ist die Lounge nicht mehr im 5. Stock sondern wesentlich kleiner im 2. Stock ! Und Zuspruch hab da weder vom Service bekommen noch in irgendeiner Art und Weise von Getränke und Speiseangebot ! An Personal wurde wohl viel gespart oder ist nach der Krise nicht wieder gekommen! Mein Aufenthalt war in Hinsicht zu 2017 ernüchternd... und werde es wahrscheinlich gut sein lassen!

Beautiful hotel especially the reception area. Rooms a little dated and this shows in the furniture too. Biggest asset to the hotel is the staff, from Reception staff to Housekeeping and everyone in-between. Whenever there was an issue, they couldn’t do enough to help. A special mention to Dickson, the most friendliest and helpful staff member with a lovely warm smile!

Nur zu empfehlen
Meine Freundin und ich haben 4 Tage im Anantara verbracht. Wir kamen nach Mitternacht an und wurden vom sehr freundlichen Nightmanager Hossam eingecheckt. Es verlief alles wunderbar. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei und typisch für die Emirate auch schön präsentiert. Das Personal war von der Rezeption, über die Küche, Bedienung, Theke und Poolbereich sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und offen. Es ist etwa 20min mit dem Auto / Taxi von der City und vom Flughafen entfernt und damit sehr angenehm. Durch den GoldStatus gab es sogar ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer Richtung Mangroven-Landschaft. Das Zimmer war mehr als ausreichend dimensioniert. Beim ein und auschecken wurden uns, wie man sich das bei einem derartigen Hotel vorstellt, Koffer und dergleichen abgenommen und Türen geöffnet. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden in Zukunft nach anderen Anantara Hotels Ausschau halten. Alles in allem hat das Hotel unseren Ansprüchen sehr zugesprochen und sogar übertroffen. Es ist das Geld definitiv Wert, da es im Vergleich günstiger ausfällt als viele vergleichbaren Hotels.

Impressive from the outside.

Food Poisoning from Room Service
I got the worse food poisoning from room service. So, my trip to Abu Dhabi was ruined. I was stopping over for 2 days to visit the city. The hotel only called to asked if I needed any medical assistant and allow me to have late checked out but didn’t compensate me for the food. I was very disappointed with the service I received.

This is a super hotel. Incredibly spacious room, comfy bed, great food, the staff are friendly, and helpful staff and there is a wonderful ambience! slippers in the room would make this hotel 10/10. Overall, I will return for sure. Highly recommend.

Beautiful accommodations, excellent service and excellent a la carte dining. Buffets are never my thing, and I eat late so it's not fair for me to complain about what was left for me on the buffet an hour before it closed. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Amazing staycation with Mangrove views
The excellent service and surroundings with beautiful Mangrove views. However the food is not so good. Both food at the pool bar and breakfast buffet was disappointing. The room is super spacious and neat. (Even early check-in was possible) but, the bathtub was dirty with some random hair which was not mine. Overall it was still amazing staycation experiences.

I had a wonderful stay here while in Abu Dhabi. It is about a 15 minute drive to the city but I love looking out over the mangroves at night. The staff are just wonderful and it broke my heart to leave. I definitely will be back to stay here again.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Top-notch service, beautiful view from our balcony. Can't say enough about the breakfast buffet .... absolutely fantastic! The only negative was our room was right below the bar - that meant we had to put up with loud music until 1 or 2 in the morning throughout our stay. Frustrating!

Not the best experience.
The hotel was nice, but the staff were so focussed on the NYE event, that we felt a little ignored. My friend had a broken arm and because of this, was refused entry to the hotel lounge. The staff member at the Impressions lounge even laughed at him and asked why it was broken. I was shocked and disappointed, my friend felt awful because we weren’t allowed entry to the bar and lounge and this put a real dampener on the evening. It was just unkind and rude of her. The hotel was fine, but definitely didn’t feel like a 5 star experience. Disappointed.

Wonderful stay a few days felt like forever it was very relaxing and tranquil Staff were friendly and helpful Food at the buffet was tasteful and varied More vegan/ vegetarian choices would have been appreciated but chefs helpful and obliging Rooftop bar had amazing sunset views over the mangroves and city Will definitely return

Short break
The outside and pool area was a lot smaller than expected. The pool was very busy and the only place to sit was in the middle of the shisha lounge which, as non-smokers was not very pleasant. We took the all inclusive package which was very limited and it was difficult to get staff to refill drinks. Although we had a very nice room, the soundproofing wasn’t fantastic. Food was very nice and there was lots of choice. Overall very nice but we’ve had much better for a similar price.
