"Sunbird Ku Chawe is situated high up on the Zomba Plateau - one definitely needs a car to get there. It has perfectly manicured beautiful gardens. Even though it was very hot the time that I was there, there is always a cool breeze as it is so high up! I loved my room with the views of the Zomba town & far off mountains such as Chiradzulu and Mulanje. Had a wet room and modern fixtures in the bathroom. "It was alright for the price. The staff were very friendly and tried to make my stay enjoyable. My only complaint was that the mosquito net had a large hole in it. Other repairs may be expensive, but a new net doesn't cost that much. "
