"My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Parkgate Hotel. The surrounding area is close to everything and vibrant with student life on the weekends, so coming home to the Parkgate is such a haven after experiencing all that (excellent) chaos. The hotel was perfect: the bar was well-tended and cozy (and beautiful), the lobby was grandiose, the staff was attentive and kind, and the rooms pleasant and clean. We couldn't want for more. "A last minute booking. The receptionist greeted us and was very polite. She actually took us to the room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was really good, i was even allowed to take a plate up to the room for my daughter who did not want to get out of bed. I would definitely stay there again if ever i am in the area."
