It is attached to a beautiful home and it very private as the garage is between the suite and the main house. Everything was really clean and lovely and included everything we needed as a home base for exploring the mountains. We will be back!"

"This place was a more affordable (but still not exactly a bargain!) place to stay right in Banff! You checkin at a fancier hotel down the street and they give you your keys and then you drive over to The Dorthy Motel. It had 2 nice sized beds, a microwave, a small fridge (no freezer area), coffee pot/coffee and a tea kettle. The bathroom had lots of counter space and the shower was great! Only one small window in the room which was good for us so that it was nice and dark for sleeping. My only...

"We had a nice, large room with a small, but fully equiped kitchen which was really good! The location was fine - about 30 min walk to downtown. The shuttle also stops right outside the hotel every 30-60 min - the hotel provides a complimentary bus pass, and the shuttle takes you right downtown in 5 min. The bus pass also works for the shuttle to the gondola, the hot springs and Minnewanka lake."
