"Excelent location and very friendly and service-minded staff. Wonderful arquitecture and style in some of the common areas. The room we had was small and need of refurbishment - bathroom old fashioned and overall room overpriced and not up to the standard of a 4 * hotel. Poor insulation and heating system in the room, meaning we had to borrow extra heater not to be cold. Also some of the common areas without proper heating. Good breakfast. "

"Amazing hotel with an unbeatable location. The service was brilliant with Sebastian and John being so welcoming on arrival at the train station and helpful on departure including assisting me with gifts from the market. I was unexpectedly provided with free champagne and chocolates as a welcome gift. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast experience on the terrace with the sound of the waterfalls and a clear view of Machu Picchu was a once in a lifetime experience."

"Such an inviting jungle like retreat! A staff member met us at the train station and walked us to the hotel. The superior suite room was wonderful, especially with the natural hot springs hot tub! Would have liked a little more attention advertised as special services that go along with the room choice. Food was bountiful and tasty! Staff very attentive in the dining room!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We got a private room with our own bath and it was lovely. The staff was very friendly and the hotel held on to our bags for us while we trekked Machu Picchu. The food in the hotel was delicious, we stayed here before and after our trek and after we just wanted room service, which was served hot, delicious, and fresh. We loved the community feel and the location is really hard to beat. Overall - we would love to stay here again. "

"This hotel is located just two blocks away from the train station and right on the heart of the street where all the restaurants are located. Staff was warm and welcoming, we had the dinner included , which was great, and the breakfast too, which they serve starting at 4 AM since many of the visitors to the Manchu Picchu archeological site have reservations to arrive very early. We asked for a late checkout ( we got up at 5 AM and wanted to rest back from the ruins before our train departed) and...

"This hotel was perfect for our trip to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was super early, they let us store our bags, and the room was comfy and clean. It was a 5 minute walk from the train station and right by the water. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
