The hotel and staff was very sweet and helpful but I did specifically book the Torre Dorada because I was under the impression we could be picked up for our tours, hosted by Lima Tours, but I was informed then evening before by a guide we had to meet them in the main square. "Charming hotel in an excellent location, a few minutes away from the main square. Even though San Blas is a very lively part of Cusco, the hotel is very peaceful and quiet. The room wasn’t luxurious but was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and always happy to help. Breakfasts were good and the views over Cusco from the restaurant were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely go back! "

"Amazing stay! The views from our dome were amazing! You are literally on the top of a mountain with views down to the Urabamba river and a glacier on a distant peak. There are only a few staff that work here, and they do everything! From picking you up at the train station and from town when needed (extra fee, contact them through WhatsApp), to cooking a delicious dinner in their small restaurant. This hotel involves switchbacks on a dirt road. The last short stretch is too narrow for a car, so...

"The owner and his family are excellent hosts. They are very friendly and welcoming. The location is a bit far from Cusco main square - about 20 mins walk and at a place not considered as a primą location. The internet is spotty and slow. The breakfast time needs to be confirmed each night for next morning and the food is prepared for you - not buffet like big hotels. The food is very similar each morning with little variety. "
