"We loved the “open to the sky” shower with a big rain head fitting. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The staff were amazing & really friendly and respectful. They use local produce really well. Wifi is complimentary in the Reception area but SAT20 per day otherwise. The pool area is beautiful and has its own “swimup” bar "

"Aniva is a great host and the ladies that help her are lovely. The breakfast is very nice, the rooms clean and it's nice and close to Apia. The beds were a little hard for my taste but not terribly so, the shower is great and the pool is a delight in the heat, even though it's over-chlorinated. Definitely pay the extra for A/C (it's a must for sleeping in the heat) and I would recommend paying in advance at the quoted price as there is a small discrepancy in the exchange rate if paying when you...

"Staff was amazing , Very friendly and always willing to help. They became like family and without hesitation They promised to look after my mum when I returned back to NZ but they went above and beyond. Check in/out was smooth with no hassles. Right in the middle of Apia so very convenient to town. It’s simple and intimate setting gives you peace and quiet and the attention when needed. Highly recommended. "We stayed for a week in the over water bungalow. The bungalow is showing its age, however still really comfortable. This is five star location, with the balcony over looking the ocean. The air conditioning worked really well and the room is equipped with a fridge that stayed cold, coffee making facilities and towels. We will miss this place and would definitely return "

"Staying in a fale overlooking the beach and ocean is an incredible experience I will never forget. Falling asleep to the waves crashing and star lit night sky was perfect. "we arrived as planned late at night and were shown to our room by the driver. There were pools of rainwater on the floor. The AC outside the window was making a humming noise which made it impossible to sleep. We were given a ground-floor room although we had been promised a 1st-floor room. Although we were moved upstairs the next day, this was just the beginning of a not-very-successful stay. The grounds and the rooms are ok (apart from the noisy AC), but the staff appears tired and unenthusiastic particularly in the restaurant and in the reception. Getting a wifi code (to the very bad wifi) was a long process that could only be handled by the director within her working hours. Breakfast is substandard. The driver was the only exception to this "
