"Amazing hotel with an unbeatable location. The service was brilliant with Sebastian and John being so welcoming on arrival at the train station and helpful on departure including assisting me with gifts from the market. I was unexpectedly provided with free champagne and chocolates as a welcome gift. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast experience on the terrace with the sound of the waterfalls and a clear view of Machu Picchu was a once in a lifetime experience."

"Such an inviting jungle like retreat! A staff member met us at the train station and walked us to the hotel. The superior suite room was wonderful, especially with the natural hot springs hot tub! Would have liked a little more attention advertised as special services that go along with the room choice. Food was bountiful and tasty! Staff very attentive in the dining room!"

"I stayed at the beautiful Casa Del Sol for 3 nights with family during my trip in Aguas Calentes. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly from greeting us at the train station to providing us with hot towels and tea upon our arrival. I immediately knew this hotel would take care of us. The hotel boasts stunning views of the mountains and river, with the entire backside offering a breathtaking panorama. "This hotel is located just two blocks away from the train station and right on the heart of the street where all the restaurants are located. Staff was warm and welcoming, we had the dinner included , which was great, and the breakfast too, which they serve starting at 4 AM since many of the visitors to the Manchu Picchu archeological site have reservations to arrive very early. We asked for a late checkout ( we got up at 5 AM and wanted to rest back from the ruins before our train departed) and...

Minimal støj fra stationen, da værelserne ligger bag stationsbygningen, hvorfra toget går direkte til Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu). "The Rupa Rupa is up quite a steep set of stairs. Once up there the room for four was large enough, however the bathroom is a bit small for four people. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. You can hear the birds in the morning but also the nightlife so it's not quiet most of the day. Overall it was great, just be sure you can do 5 flights of stairs often and are okay with mountain air moisture."

"Beautiful and peaceful property, loved the breakfast (we ordered everything!), dinner and cocktails from bar. Also enjoyed the spa - hydro-circuit therapy was refreshing and massages were excellent. It is further from town, but that’s why we chose this lodge. After our 4-day trek, we very much appreciated the rest. Shuttle service was easy to arrange and always on time. Staff were kind and helpful, arranged everything requested, efficiently. We stayed 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. "
