"Super well located in Puerto Morelos! 5 min walk to the beach. Good places to eat and hang out around. Keep in it’s a hostel, but our room was confortable and did the job for a short stay! Would return! "

"The Boathouse is a friendly ,well run ,central hostal. There is an excellent atmosphere and everyone is made welcome. The staff, volunteers and guests are happy to help or give advice . Facilities are fine and rates are excellent. "

"Hotellet ligger centralt og maden på hotellets restaurant smager fint - det er så også noget af det eneste positive, man kan sige. Personalet var det mest ugidelige, jeg nogensinde har oplevet. Man skulle næsten presse dem for at få hjælp til noget. Man fik følelsen af, at man ikke var velkommen. Desuden afholdte hotellet store fester 3 dage om ugen, hvilket vi ikke var blevet advaret imod. Vores værelse lå lige ved siden af baren, og vi fik næsten ingen søvn to af nætterne, da hele bygningen...

"Unfortunately we could not find the place! We circled the block multiple times, got out an walked from building to building. I found a call box on the building at the address provided but it either didn’t work or no one was there to answer it. No signs at all on the building or anywhere near it. We ended up giving up hope and finding a last minute hotel. "

"Staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel and facilities are okay, rooftop has a great view of the city. Rooms are sooo small though, and there is too many rooms in no place. Walls are also thin. We had a couple in the “top bunk” of ours keeping us awake for hours in the middle of the night with their noises…"

"It’s sold as a hotel room. This is a hostal. One women toilet/shower for everybody. My room door in the middle of the community kitchen. Very strong humidity smell in the room."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hostel is in a good location, and the staff is awesome! There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. We had issues with our shower clogging up and our room flooded during a heavy rain. The area is definitely pretty loud, so beware if you’re a light sleeper. In the end it was a good value for the price, and I’d consider it for a future stay."
