Overprices - Outdated hotel
Where to start, so many things was wrong. Hotel is old and not maintained, maintenance by amateur. Staff is unfriendly. I booked 3 nights for 3 persons with access to pool. Hotel wanted €2 for 1 towel to the pool area per day. Hotel wanted €1 if you wanted egg at included breakfast. Bathtub was very rusty, doorhandle broken, faucet was moving around, wind was coming in the window. Pool/waterpark was dirty and no lifeguard, kids under 6 years used the big slides with age limit, no check. Bought iceceam and it was like rubber. Wifi was not that good. First day we got 6 towels in the room, second day 3, third day 4. They are not thinking about the guests. Can NOT recommend the hotel at all.

Ok sted til børn hvor der både var pool, legeplads og legeland. Ved pool var der ingen opsyn af personalet. Meget lidt behjælpsom ved henvendelse ang. deres opbevaringsmuligheder af tøj. Der var koldt vand i bruseren i poolområdet, så badet blev taget på værelset hvor der kun kom minimalt vand ud af bruseren. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende på stedet. Hotellet trænger generelt til vedligeholdelse da det var slidt. Værelset vi boede på manglede rengøring. sengen var skæv, toiletholderen faldt ud af væggen. Synes det var dyrt i forhold til hvordan standen var af stedet.

Fin valuta til prisen
Fin valuta for pengene og rigtig sødt personale som var behjælpelige med togrejser osv. Morgenmad var super simpel og med alt for mange mennesker og aftenbuffeten kold. Fint med shuttlebus udenfor til Disneyland.

Familietur til Disneyland
Ungdomsgruppe var meget støjende. Meget støj i Morgenmadsområdet, også fra personalets flytten med service. Legeland og biograf var lukket hele ugen. Shuttlebus var overfyldt hele tiden. Flinkt personale, vi fik nye værelser i en maden fløj, pga støj fra ungdomsgruppe der larmede og holdt fest på gangen ud for værelserne.

Slidt hotel. Hotel er opført i 2003 og siden har man ladet hotellet stå til - dette ses overalt. Overfyldt med alt for mange mennesker. Morgenbuffet dårlig og meget usund. Hotellet er ikke pengene værd.

Bonjour The Explorers hotel is dedicated to families and we must admit that our little sailors are often really excited to stay with us and to visit Disneyland Paris, and this excitement can be noisy indeed. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Rigtig god familie hotel
Super godt hotel til prisen! Mange faciliteter til børn og børnevenlighed er tænkt ind i alt. Morgenmaden kunne have været bedre, lidt småligt at tage penge for æg. Det var for lidt personale til antal gæster. Men overordnet set et rigtig godt hotel i kort afstand til Disneyland.

Rigtig fint hotel tæt på Disneyland med gode parkeringsforhold og OK værelser, kunne godt have brugt noget aircon på værelset men kunne godt lufte ud så det var nogenlunde ok temperatur. Morgenmaden var lidt tam, men vi fik da noget at spise. Lidt dyre priser på drikkevarer i automaterne.

Das Hotel könnte an manchen Stellen, renoviert und modernisiert werden. Die Unterkunft war aber für den kurzen Aufenthalt (2 Nächte) perfekt. Kurzer Transfer zum Disneyland. Das Schwimmbad, der Spielplatz (Out / Indoor) war auch ideal für unser 4 Jähriges Kind. Das Personal war immer sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstückbuffet und Abendbuffet war sehr vielseitig und gut. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wider kommen. Für uns war es perferkt.

Hôtel principalement axé sur les familles, l'amusement des enfants, les lieux pour les tout-petits. Thématique des pirates, des monstres et animaux marins. Respect entre les visiteurs, personnel très agréable et serviable, plusieurs langues parlées. Très larges plages horaires pour les différentes attractions internes (piscine, salle d'arcade, restaurant, billard, module avec piscine à boules, ...). Bon petit déjeuner.

Rooms were very basic. Could definitely do with some modernisation. Plenty of clean towels available and beds made daily. Breakfast was generally fine, although it was the same stuff every single morning. The shuttle buses were frequent and very handy to the Parks. Marco’s Pizza was tasty, although the menu was quite limited.

Very good for children, swimming pool open late. The only down side of our stay was the return shuttle bus from disney. No organisation, not good if you have small children. we ended up getting a taxi.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food fairly basic but good quality. Check in relatively simple as was check out. Would recommend this hotel if you’re not looking for bells and whistles.

Convenient base to enjoy Disney. We had a hire car which worked well so can’t comment re shuttle. Rooms clean and tidy when we arrived but communal areas like toilet facilities and hallways outside rooms not in a good state.

The hotel itself was really good in every aspect, it was clean had food options and decent breakfast, only thing I didn’t like and it’s a big thing was the shuttle bus to the park, this shuttle serves about 6 hotels and sometimes you can’t even get on it it’s so busy don’t stay for the fireworks because you might not get back with around 200 people waiting for the last bus as we found out just lucky there was a extra one, as I said totally nothing wrong with hotel but they need to get there own shuttle bus or share with one other hotel not 6

The softplay area and outdoor playground were good. Our room had one window overlooking the bar/social area. Unfortunately you can't open the window. On our second night we complained about not being able to open the window. We were never offered an alternate room, though later on the receiption staff insisted that we did but refused it. On the same night the safe was broken. It took the handyman over an hour to come up to the room to look at it. He said he could come and fix it the next morning - it took two days to fix. On the third night, when we came back to the hotel at 9pm (having been out since 8.30am), the heating was on full blast and the aircon was switched off entirely so we couldn't turn it on. when we complained the receiptionist said that we had requested that (another lie). The room was so hot that our 3 and 6 year olds were crying. They offered us another room on a lower floor, but it was 10pm and we didn't what to haul everything to another floor. They said that there were no other rooms on our floor but after ten minutes of arguing one was magically available. The manager was rude, the staff were disinterested and the food in the Captain's Library was disgusting - cold chips and burnt burgers. They couldn't even get the order right. whatever you do, avoid room 9547. Oh, the shuttle service is always overcrowded with people fighting to get on.

Das Hotel ist generell renovierungsbedürftig. Keine Klima, Elektro-Heizkörper, keine Klohbürste, Badezimmer aus den 90-zigern. Es ist sehr hellhörig. Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Es ist eher dreckig gewesen, vom Flur bis zu den Zimmern. Wir haben für 2 Nächte 400€ bezahlt 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder inkl. Frühstück. Summa sumaro überteuert für den Service der geboten wird. Frühstück war nur mit Schinken und Butterkäse ausgestattet. Keine Art von Eiern oder Würstchen, Bacon etc. Toast und Croissant gab es im Übermaß. Restaurant bietet ein Buffet für 30 pro Person an, dies war allerdings in Ordnung und lecker. Des weiteren gibt es eine Snackbar die auch in Ordnung war. Das Spaßbad ist wohl die Haupattraktion. Die Kinder hatten sehr viel Spaß. Die Umkleidekabinen waren auch sehr dreckig und die Duschen. Spieleraum ok. Zu den Übernachtungskosten haben wir noch 200€ da gelassen zur Verpflegung hauptsächlich, Spiele und Parkplatz. Ich würde das Hotel nicht mehr buchen!

Stayed in a family room, the room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Kids loved the swimming pool although it was cold. The issue we had was with the plantation buffet, it was a really poor selection for the price and the service wasn’t good. The same with breakfast, only a continental option.

Explorers is an ideal location for the Disney parks and trains to Paris. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean. Facilities are outstanding for children, the water slides in the pool were very good as was the indoor soft play and outdoor park. There’s pizza and crepes, hot dogs and sandwich’s available with drinks. There’s also a bar area. The included continental breakfast was excellent, fresh baked rolls and pastries selection of meats and cheese, salads and various jams etc with plenty seating available. There’s a large supermarket 1.5km away, you’ll find all local taxi’s are a flat fare of €20 but and Uber was €12 you can walk it’s a straight road.
