"Pros: - Great location for enjoying Mt Sunapee area - The common areas were great - Very easy and smooth check-in and check-out. - Great value for the price (Possible) Cons: - This wasn't an issue for me, but there is no staff on location. I didn't need anyone at all, but just in case you want to interact with a human when you check in or check out, you won't find that."

"Great stay for our 2 night visit to the area. We had a car so it was easy to see the sights in and around Portsmouth. It was a bit rainy so we did not get to enjoy the beautiful backyard, fire pit and pretty garden area. The place was immaculate and tastefully decorated. A fun time was had. A microwave might have been nice to have for left overs."

"What a wonderful spot the Shaker Bear Cottage is!! We were in New London for a Colby Sawyer college reunion, and this was the most perfect place to stay. Our hosts Tom and Kem are wonderful, and their cottage is so lovely—-spotless, well appointed with anything we would need (kitchen, bathrooms) and was tradition New England decor. We loved our visit!!!"

"Very clean and easy to “self check in”. It is a nice setting too. We felt safe. The bed, for me was very hard and the pillows were more like morning pancakes. The pillows really need to be replaced. I did not sleep well. Over all a nice place. "

"The communication with the host was smooth and on time. Check-in and check-out process went just fine although we forgot to empty the dishwasher which was on the list. Sorry! Location is very nice and quiet, there are a lot of trees outside which we like. The actual apartment was cozy and clean but definitely due for renovations or at least some updates. "You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. "
