"As others have said, it's not a five-star resort. We had misgivings when we arrived. But, we ended up liking the house better than a hotel. My friend and I stayed in the smaller two bedroom house. "The location at the top of the hill has amazing views of the Central Valley. The accommodations are basic but a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, butter and milk for coffee are nice touches. However, there is no air conditioning and the windows face due east. In the morning, that means bright sun directly into the sleeping space. "The view from this property is amazing. The distance to town was not bad. The food in the town of Montezuma was wonderful too. Peter was a great host and we had all that we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the covered patio watching the sun rise in the AM. And we took full advantage of the pool during the heat of the day. We will be back to visit for sure!!!"
