Royal Maison was nice, but this property is more level and the tents are closer to the reception and each other, yet still quite private. I stayed for 4 nights with my wife on an 18 day honeymoon, and out of all the places we stayed, including 5-star hotels in Cairo, Nairobi, Dubai, and the Maldives, we had the best service and the best food of all at Elephant Pepper. "It's an excellent hotel and the very first thing is no words to explain the hospitality of the staff..right from the head Moses..chef Simon & team and the house keeping. The only sad part is about the electricity. Bad..just two hrs till 8 only in the morning n evening till 8 only ..the inverters don't support even for one light in tent room .and the worst is no cell signal at all! Otherwise it's great mainly for those who hit the pillow early and want to get away from calls!"
