"We enjoyed our stay in Hilo. The apartment is the ground floor of Ingrid's family home, and has its own separate entrance. Having been to Hilo before, we didn't feel we needed a fancy tourist vacation destination lodging location, for a place to stay. So a simple and homey place, that was part of an actual home, in a suburban neighborhood, worked fine for us. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. "This condo was the perfect place for a family vacation on the Big Island. The unit has been recently renovated and it had an awesome Lanai that we used every day! In addition, the condo included beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as other small things that made the trip easy for us, like dish soap, coffee filters, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. Finally, the location is perfect. It is walkable to shopping, restaurants and the beach."

"Not used to loud traffic driving by all hours of the night. Couldn’t sleep. In morning you could hear dogs barking and curtains in bedroom weren’t blackout so sun shone through in early morning. Otherwise the condo was very nice and efficient would have been nice to have washer/dryer in unit. We were grateful for laundry area close by with the pool. We did enjoy our stay."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are absolutely incredible!!! The birds, frogs and insects provide such a soothing/calming background. Wandering the grounds, you can find a sitting area that overlooks a small koi pond. When I was there, there were so many flowers in bloom. I would highly recommend this as a location to stay!!"
