"The breakfast and location are the highlights of this hotel. Cetin is a real asset to the team - we really enjoyed our chats with him and he made us feel so well looked after throughout our stay. Unfortunately where things fell short of expectations is cleanliness of our room and facilities provided. We may not have noticed these things if we were only staying for a day or two, but after three of our four nights’ stay we realised our floor wasn’t being cleaned, towels potentially not replaced...

"Beautiful grounds, pool and vistas. Very friendly staff, and breakfast was very good. Just be aware you’re driving narrow country roads to get up to the property, about 1/2 mile outside Archanes. We’d do it again without hesitation, but probably not with the unit we booked. It had a loft bedroom with steep stairs and low ceiling height for half the loft. Fine for shorter folks or younger people. Not ideal at age 70."
