"The hotel is located very centered of Athens, however it is placed in a kind of dodgy area. During the day we didn’t feel unsafe but we did make sure to be back at the hotel before it got dark. The rooms are great and clean however during the 3 nights stay we had, there was no cleaning of the room. During the night there is SO MUCH NOISE. We had to purchase earplugs because the air condition thing (ours and our neighbors) was on our balcony and made so much noise and we didn’t turn on our air...

"I had a wonderful stay in the City Circus Hostel ! The place is really well located, you are able to enjoy all of the citie's treasures by feet. The rooms and common parts are clean, the lockers in the dorms are big, and it's possible to get a really good vegan/ vegetarian breakfast ! Special mention to Tryphon (or Triphon), who welcomed me, and helped me a lot during my stay (it was my first destination in Greece) ! Thank you, and go on with those professional and human qualities :D "

"Really cozy and high classed hostel in a very good location! Sometimes it felt that I'm at the hotel than hostel because the public rooms. People were social and the staff was nice (especially cleaners). Free breakfast was delicious and there was cleaning every day. I will definitely stay again when I come to Athens again!!"

"As a solo 46F traveler that has been staying in hostels for over 20 years, I have to say Bedbox is one of the best! Great location, very clean, several small hang out spots from the basement to the roof, comfy beds with curtains!, large storage boxes with locks provided, and decent bathrooms with 3 clean showers per floor (towels for rent). "It's a youth hostel. Not a hotel. Receptionist meet us with an attitude. Got a small and extremely cramped street level room in another building across the road with people partying and shouting just outside our Windows most of the night. At 7 am loud as hell construction work begins right next door. No sleep at all before long drive to the Peloponnes. Cannot recommend. "
