"We booked a premium room with a king-size bed for two adults and two children. But on arrival we were asked if we wanted to upgrade for a fee. We saw no reason for that until we saw that we got standard bed for two people! "This is a lovely hotel, and the staff were great. It has a striking lobby, in a great location. The roof top infinity pool (adults only) was lovely, and always quite quiet. Unfortunately, the main pool was closed and annoyingly it was due to scheduled refurbishment works but we were not told until the day we arrived and it was closed the whole week we were there. We don’t have children so wasn’t too bad for us, but we did both get a complimentary breakfast at the buffet when we complained....

"Extremely poor English skills. They had lost our booking. The receptionist couldn't speak nor understand English. They managed to find a room after some negotiations, including showing them the booking we had received from them. The hotel is inside a zoo with the smell and dust that comes with it. However charming this might be I can't recommend this hotel to anyone not from the Emirates."
