"The hostess was very kind and welcoming and I enjoyed talking with her very much!! The views from the living room are incredible and the bedroom is very comfortable. It was a nice getaway very close to Pictured Rocks, Lake Superio, and Munising. I will likely go there again! "

"We stayed here one night only but wished we could move in!!! A lot of love and care was put into this beautifully updated lakeside place. We had anything and everything we could possibly need including handy bicycles to get around and a well stocked Kitchen for breakfast! The four of us friends have stayed in many VRBO’s and this one is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed. Thank you Tony for a great experience on the last evening of our trip."

"The Copper Jewel is a wonderful property with character, charm and plenty of space. And Pam is a rockstar! We had the whole home to ourselves (3 couples) but were fortunate to have our host (Pam) prepare a bountiful breakfast each morning and entertain us with stories of Calumet and copper country - including the 100-year old Jewel (home). The sauna was a hit as was the easy access (walking) to the bars, restaurants and shops of downtown Calumet. Love this place and look forward to returning...

"If you are looking for a welcoming, clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay, look no further! My sister and I had to go to the U.P. and just needed a place to rest for the night before heading back down south. We really hit the jackpot with Forest Gardens! Debbie and Alan are the sweetest people ever. Their home is so beautiful and we enjoyed our time there very much. Breakfast was so delicious and their hospitality was next level. "We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. "
