"Best place to stay in Samoa on Upolu. Staff are wonderful, can’t do enough to make you comfortable. We’ve stayed here before and have stayed at other resort on Upolu. We visited other top resorts for lunch and were so happy to return to Sinalei every day "

"Staff was very lovely, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, had the best omelette every morning. The only issue we had was the hot water wasnt working so had cold showers we did notify reception and they said they would get maintenance to have alook at the shower. Overall lovely stay here at the hotel, very short walk to town which was very handy."

"Lovely beach fales on the beach front. Perfect location. Food was really yummy and plenty offered. Mary was amazing she really made my stay enjoyable. There were no basic toiletries including soap in the bathrooms which was not good. Beds were comfortable and clean sheets. Very beautiful location and close to lots of attractions. Highly recommend this accommodation. Take snacks and own soap! "

"We booked 2 nights in a room with shared bathroom and shower. Both the rooms, toilets and showers are clean and with hot water. The hotel is placed close to the city of Apia and it is very easy to grab a taxi from the hotel. The pool is nice and the breakfast is good and varies each day. "This was delightful hotel, a bit quirky and out of the way, but the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and food tasty. The whole place could do with a bit of TLC and the menu updated as several choices were unavailable all week. That said, for a locally owned and run hotel it’s a bit of a gem and any faults forgiven as the staff are so good. Please visit!"

"Stayed in a beach Fales and was amazing. Right on the beach the sea underneath us at high tide. Back to basics loved the experience glamping the Samoan way. Star gazing and listening to the waves at night. Beautiful sunrise in the morning and watching the wildlife wake up. Good amenities and food was sort of ok. Would definitely recommend staying here on the beach. "

"we arrived as planned late at night and were shown to our room by the driver. There were pools of rainwater on the floor. The AC outside the window was making a humming noise which made it impossible to sleep. We were given a ground-floor room although we had been promised a 1st-floor room. Although we were moved upstairs the next day, this was just the beginning of a not-very-successful stay. The grounds and the rooms are ok (apart from the noisy AC), but the staff appears tired and unenthusiastic particularly in the restaurant and in the reception. Getting a wifi code (to the very bad wifi) was a long process that could only be handled by the director within her working hours. Breakfast is substandard. The driver was the only exception to this "
